  1. How many owners have FSD now?

No, it hasn't learned how to read, it hasn't been taught how to do that. It's a concept familiar to anyone who has driven in a foreign country using a language that they don't understand. Just because you can't read, doesn't mean you can't drive. People drift over solid yellow lines all the...
  2. How do I get Sirius XM to play on my CT?

Get a Starlink mini dish and it is no longer an issue. Tesla just isn't doing SiriusXM satellite anymore. You want it, you stream it.
  3. Cybertruck hits 500kW charging speed with just unveiled V4 Cabinet!

Because the analogies and issues are different between the platforms? Because even the units are defined differently. A gallon is a physical defined measurement, a kWh is a derivative of other measurements. And gallons per minute was never used. And Tesla really doesn't spec a "tank/battery size"
  4. Cybertruck hits 500kW charging speed with just unveiled V4 Cabinet!

Like EVs, it depends on the tank size and the pump capacity. Haven't you been at a pump that pumps very slow and it seems like forever to fill? i worked for a trailer company and the owner had a combination of tanks that held 150 gallons and took forever to fill. Do you know how many GPM your...
  5. Cybertruck hits 500kW charging speed with just unveiled V4 Cabinet!

It's actually the most informative metric! "I added 28 kWH" "I'm now at 78% charge" What do those mean? If you aren't familiar with how big the "tank" is, then you have no idea. Even if you are familiar, you have to go through some calculations to figure out what you really want. What you...
  6. How long for official plates to arrive from the DMV?

In Georgia, I can't get any specialized plates until it has basic plates.
  7. How many owners have FSD now?

Sure, but learning is done back at Tesla, not as the vehicles are driving. A new update will supposedly by sending some info backwards. And FSD is still too young to take a driver's test.
  8. Autopilot -Non FS Question

AFAIK, there is a high possibility that the Cybertruck will never have Enhanced Autopilot available. EA has been deprecated and is no longer sold. If you look at ANY car today, I believe that you will see that the only option is FSD. EA is no longer available to order. Since it was dropped...
  9. Super simple Starlink Mini dash “mount” using a single bracket

I thought about mounting externally, but that's an expensive thing that can easily be removed.
  10. Windshield Wiper Sprayer

AFAIK, it comes out from multiple ports on the wiper.
  11. Alaska 360 mile delivery drive home

That is an awesome way to get over range anxiety. Some people stay too scared to meander more than 100 miles from their house because of range anxiety.
  12. Cybertruck on full self-driving (FSD) 12.5.5.3 drives us through fog, ZERO safety interventions!

Lots of misunderstanding going on here. LIDAR doesn't mean that you are using HD maps. To a degree, any solution that looks at its environment (LIDAR or Vision) shouldn't need HD maps. HD maps allow you to NOT have to determine where the lines are. And Tesla does use HD mapping, not the maps...
  13. Cybertruck hits 500kW charging speed with just unveiled V4 Cabinet!

Look at it this way. two different batteries, each charging at normal Tesla speeds and curves. I've been able to take on about 50% in 15-20 minutes on my Cybertruck. That's now going to drop to less than 10 minutes. If you are still charging at the 27 minutes mark that you mentioned earlier...
  14. Cybertruck hits 500kW charging speed with just unveiled V4 Cabinet!

An empty and conditioned Model Y or Model 3 can peak at over 1,000 mph at a V3 Supercharger. The Cybertruck hits around 700 mph on the V3. 1,300 mph, DAMN! That's basically each side of the battery getting its own 250 kW charger Amazing what simply going to 800V yields.
  15. Overnight airport cold weather battery help

In Atlanta, we have a place, Peachy Parking that has about 50 standard wall plugs for EV to charge from, it's even indoors and decently priced. So I always come back with more charge than I left with. Lots of EV charging options at CVG. Some in the parking garages to the off-site parking...
  16. Is a strange low pulsing hum normal?

Yep, normal. While there can be a variety of things going on, once you open the door, the A/C turns on. Tesla even has the sound in the manual: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/models/en_us/GUID-AA58ED67-9C93-4EE6-8B19-9FDABE018787.html If you are moving, then up to 30 mph, you will hear...
  17. Car wash mode during strong rain storms?

Car wash mode is EXTREMELY well defined, as well as I can remember when you enable it. Car wash mode, FYI, isn't a Cybertruck thing, it's been on Teslas for years.
  18. AHH, SPECULATION ONCE AGAIN. Extended battery

Again, I'm just telling you facts. Interstate Superchargers are generally within a block or two of the Interstate, they don't take much time at all. You are doing everything that you can to prove me wrong. I didn't come up with the idea of 5-50% charging, others did. I'm just telling you...
  19. AHH, SPECULATION ONCE AGAIN. Extended battery

Interesting, I've got 11,000 miles on my Cybertruck in 6 months. We are in the same neighborhood. If you want to travel faster in the Tesla, try 5-50% charging. It's more charging stops but overall much quicker, each stop is only around 15 minutes, not the 45 or so that a 15-80% represents...
