I searched, but don’t believe this has been posted yet. It popped up in my feed today.
An owner of a Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine was having some work done at Bob’s Prop Shop and towed it back home on a trailer with his Cybertruck when it was ready to be picked up.
Yes, it was covered under warranty. I don’t recall any major delays, I think we got it back fairly quickly (we actually had an existing appointment scheduled a week or two away and they took care of everything on that drop off).
Have you tried supercharging or possibly using a different L2? I...
I’m thinking service. I haven’t seen that specific error, but we had an issue with our MX several years ago. It would not charge on L2 at home, but our other EV would. It would still charge at Superchargers, but a few days later it wouldn’t supercharge either, so I went straight to the...
I primarily have DeWalt tools, but was impressed by the functionality of the Packout storage and picked up a few items.. I have a mounting plate on the inside of my side cargo trailer door and thinking about mounting a couple on the inside of the tailgate. Definitely want to remove the inner...
Yes, Tesla had previously activated it (received the Discover PowerShare in the app a few days after install/commissioning). Something was apparently wrong with the registration though, all we did was a factory reset on the Gateway, a reset on the Wall Connector, go back through the...
Yeah, officially called “Tesla Certified Installers”.

The price gouges on several of these quotes is crazy. I got stuck in the Qmerit cycle a bit and was not happy with their customer service so I went back to the certified installer list...
Yes, a Tesla Certified Electrician, not QMerit, but apparently his company is going to have to start going through QMerit even if a customer contacts them directly. Makes no sense. He’d prefer to see electricians get an additional license/certification - he’s not happy with how the quoting...
My electrician was back out this morning. We went through the registration process again (scanning the QR code in the panel) and he was prompted with a few things in the Tesla One app. Everything is now working on my install.
I had a feeling it was an issue on the Tesla side, something...
my electrician came back out today, he’s now installed 2 more PowerShare’s since mine without issue. Ended up going through the registration process one more time and everything is finally working on mine. I had a feeling the issue was on the Tesla side of things and sure enough it was.
This is part of the Fish Lake Sno-Park forest roads leading up to Sugarloaf Lookout outside of Leavenworth. It’s 186 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter and you can get all the way over to Entiat. I haven’t been that far yet.
Tesla doesn’t want me to get them yet, I asked if it would be possible to get the wheel covers at my service appointment on the 1st and was told “not as of yet”. I’ll just wait for an email or see if they happen to have them on the 1st.
