Is there a requirement for physical controls for drive? I truly hope it has physical controls but I havenāt seen evidence of that in any of the pictures.
No problem, as long as it also is cheap. Not looking for some poncy premium vehicle, but something basic that can take a bit of abuse. Thatās why I find it hard to believe Tesla would price it high.
From previous delivery events, has Tesla revealed final specs and pricing at those events? Or is it still going to be a painful wait?
I mean one would imagine those go hand in hand with delivery, but maybe there's some special arrangement.
I find Rivian level price level speculation to be quite implausible. While the Cybertruck is, in original spec form, a capable vehicle, everything we have seen about the trim speaks high volume and basic, not a premium thing (and rightly so). With Ford lowering their price, and Tesla's own Model...
Thought that other vehicle was a Land Rover (Discovery, I guess?). In this picture it almost looks like the CT lacks a windscreen, but perhaps itās just the heavy distortion in the photo.
And New Zealand is not new. I have dubbed this Setokās rule of country naming: if it has an adjective in the name, it is not whatever it says (think also names like āDemocratic such and suchā)
Well you know, just another random dude who happened to stumble across a Cybertruck just sitting there, windows open and all, but somehow didn't manage to get any real shots of the rear seat area.
Bards will soon be singing tales of the mystical rear seat. One person is known to have sat in it...
Someone posted anonymously on the Facebook group that 50 Cybertrucks have arrived. Any intel on that? Sounds like a lot for just testing purposes, with 9 being more believable.
Iām very curious to find how that plays out in practise. The Model 3 already has poor corner visibility with thick and slanted A pillars (I kept almost driving into people, bikes and cars simply because I didnāt see them). I much prefer the more upright pillars of the ID.Buzz and even our e-Up...
Iām not against FSD per se. I would probably use it myself now and then if I could sufficiently trust it to fully take over. I just donāt want to be forced to do so.
Without physical feedback it apparently is not even obvious he needs to hit override. I understand that was the issue in that case: not knowing that the other guy was constantly pulling.
Yes, this has been a concern of ours from the very start. The latest design isnāt as deep as the prototype which looked like a real snow trap.
Tesla isnāt always the best company at designing for places outside California ;)
