Not giving him my eyeballs…too many people I chafe with around my CT actually believe his videos are legit “durability tests” ?. Lots of people told me not to tow with mine after the first video, and then I tell them I’ve towed ~3k miles already and it’s not an issue, try to explain why the...
My CT has the left lane hugging and left-drifting issue, on the current and prior FSD builds. Oddly wasn’t an issue on the first build we received.
I was wondering if camera calibration was the cause, will have to try that when the weather clears.
My CT is reasonably cautious in city/highway until I goose the throttle out of impatience, and then it will maintain above the limit until it encounters something to make it cautious again (ASSO is “on” showing “Max” next to speed limit display). My only complaint is it’s biasing too far left in...
Vin 003xxx, was going to try until I read the message that you can’t revert. The horn sounded odd in the preview sample, so I’m sticking with old-fashioned horn until I hear another CT Cyberhorn in person.
ugh...and I still haven't received the original voucher on my FS, March delivery...despite multiple calls to Tesla Customer Service and to my declined PowerShare installer. WTF
I tried many iterations of cabin sleep arrangements last summer (sideways with rear seats up was horrible for my 6’0” body, btw), and seemed the only viable path was passenger seat laid all the way back with a frame/mattress built-up to sleep at dash height longitudinally. I decided not to go...
I’m in the same boat, early AWD VIN in Utah and was eager to install PowerShare, but the assigned installer CarChargingPros estimated ~$4k for a 5’ install on my garage wall (my service and panel is on the garage wall within 5’ of the garage and I already have a 100A circuit to a 80A HPWC). I...
Oh yeah nice meeting you also, enjoyed our chat!
Fwiw, I will be watching closely to see if Michelin adapts their X-ice compound to an LT tire, would likely switch for next winter.
Enjoy your CT when you get it, won’t regret it!
I went with Blizzak LTs 3 weeks ago because I I’ll need to drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon (Snowbird/Alta) regularly. FWIW, my key decision point on CT snow tires, ultimately choosing the Blizzak LTs, was biased towards maximum snow/ice/slush grip, was willing to sacrifice dry characteristics...
Agreed. Very soon after receiving my CT I went looking to see if the Plaid brake kit could be adapted to our trucks, and your #3 is spot-on…I enjoy the stronger regen in my wife’s Rivian and wish Tesla would go back to the days where we could select stronger regen in our Teslas.
I tow a ~5000lb...
Oh that is brilliant! I was debating the utility of the divider for me, especially given I’m often carrying MTBs over the tailgate (they use about 2/3 of the bed depth), but I’m always game for dual-use multipurpose items.
Woohoo, updated last night, let it drive to school this am in heavy urban traffic, did really well. Very Cautious, but gave me 2-3miles over the speed limit (everyone else is 5+ over in this zone). No mistakes, handled an odd turning lane well, no interventions.
I won’t normally use it in the...
@Outdoors, I don't think you've read this whole thread. I was skeptical of OP's claims initially too, posted my own perfectly-fine tires (with pics) with 15k mileage experience with my CT AWD and adventurous driving patterns, but gave benefit of the doubt. OP has a fellow CB driver on this...
Not relevant for OP, since I and others on here have reported we have the same H-rated tire performing fine over 15k miles with harder driving patterns than OP and the other CB with bad tires have reported
ooh, I’d love to get this to happen on our youtube in the CT. Any idea what was causing the error screen?
It’s my least-favorite feature of the FS, free lifetime internet + YT has my kids doom-scrolling Shorts whenever they can get inside the truck. I want to block all YT access, really.
I absolutely precondition on cold winter mornings, and especially before a long winter roadtrip, but I live in Utah. In CA coastal areas it won't matter as much, but if you're up in the Sierra Nevada mid-January, preconditioning will ensure you have Regen available and minimize cold weather...
