Thanks for sharing, OP.
With our 2020 Model Y, the trick was to stow a small 12v battery with the wheel well jumper wires.
Youād use the small 12v battery to unlatch the frunk, then use a proper booster pack (hopefully stowed in the frunk, haha!!) to jump the car...
Mine has been great (May 2024 FS AWD).
I throw all sorts of metal tools, crates, debris, etc in the bed (and drag all sorts of things in/out) and it still looks fine.
FS AWD delivered May, 2024.
I will definitely drive mine into the ground. Love this truck. Itās my daily and only driver. Easily the best vehicle Iāve ever owned.
If they come out with CT 2.0 or 3.0 or whatever, I could see ADDING one of those. But my FS is here to stay.
One of the many things that sold me on Teslas was the amazing throttle response.
As you say, so easy to modulate from mild to wild.
Again, my FS AWD drives great. But the throttle response on the later build AWD was better.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I had a new set of OEM A/Ts installed by Tesla. I have a FS AWD with a 05/2024 build date.
I was provided a loaner and was given an AWD with a 01/2025 build date. The loaner had the core wheels, A/S, and only about 2k miles.

I'm right at 30k on the original set of A/T's with 4mm on the rears.
I'm getting another set of OEM A/T from Tesla Friday.
I was going to wait a while longer to replace but wanted to burn up the remainder of my FS credits that expire on Sunday.
I think the OEM A/Tās are the best all-rounders.
Iām at ~30k on my original set and getting a replacement set in a couple of weeks. Tesla quoted $2,245.
Haha!! I say the same whenever I see a CT in Light Mode.
In my 2020 MYLR, I let it toggle Light to Dark with the sunset. But my CT was set to Dark when I took delivery and it just seemed like the exact right look. I haven't changed it.
Glad to hear this...I was hoping that there would be at least one profile that would just go the limit, and another that would be ~5 over, etc.
The drive in this morning was fine. 14 was being REALLY stubborn about lane changes I initiated though, more so than 13 was.
I had tried Cyberswagās replacements before, but didnāt like that they wouldnāt stay with the cover.

Cyberswag DMād me and offered to send a revised part that would stay with the cover. I finally got them installed.
Assuming they hold up, these are a great solution. I...
