thatās wild. On trade-in, it seems that all cyber trucks are being bucketed together. Essentially meaning anything related to foundation is being valued at zero, including FSD. Better off with a private sale⦠but that requires effort.
It is hard for me to imagine trade-in values going up in the...
I agree it will get better overtime, but with generations taking 5 or more years generally⦠thatās like saying just wait between 15 and 25 years. Unless you meant wait a few years
Not that Iām rooting for this, but if Tesla cut production, then of course they will go up and value. Nothing will ever be built like this again.
I see the more likely scenario it just being a niche / premium vehicle. Thatās also not the worst thing for current owners.
The worst thing for...
Being a Cybertruck owner is like the vehicle version of the movie Shallow Hal.
I almost didnāt buy due to clickbait.
Then I actually drove one. It was so much better than anything else I looked at and it wasnāt even close.
The Cybertruck gets clicks / views online. Negative press gets more...
Enjoy your new ride.
Itās funny you say the primary downside is essentially the public response to the vehicle. I completely agree. If I were to downgrade, the sole reason would be to blend back in with the background.
For those here who have gone down to 25 or lower with the stock AT⦠what type of terrain were you on, how aggressive were you driving and how did it hold up?
The recommended 36 feels not that low but Iād stick that that for most applications.
I do wonder what the guys who did Glamis / other sand driving aired down to. 36 is high for sand and thereās far less wheel risk in sand vs rocky terrain for example. My biggest concern would really be losing bead.
I put down $100 back in 2019 because I thought it looked cool (maybe not beautiful but definitely cool) and because I was in the market for a pickup.
Fast forward to launch / the sensationalized āthis thing sucks!!ā media days and I almost didnāt buy it.
Then I actually test drove one. It was...
We probably were all in the same boat. It was just a really fun and exciting concept.
Had I known this would happen I would have just waited it out and maybe bought a 10-20 year old vehicle for the time being.
Itās mental illness thatās being further enabled by echo chambers on the Internet. When you read online that vandalizing or spitting on other peoples cars is a thing to do, it feels normal when you do it, even though it would be viewed as absolute despicable behavior by 99.9 percent of the...
In a regular old rental car out of state, my kids were screaming excited to see a CT on the road (we have one at home).
I look to my right and see a woman in a minivan making the āIām so repulsed Iām going to throw upā face at the Cybertruck. So childish.
I had to laugh because a pure human...
āIāve never said the phrase ācrumple zonesā in my life up until now, and am not versed in the most basics of automotive engineering. Here are 5 reasons the cybertrucks lack-of-crumple-zones (tm) that I heard about on the internet from someone equally as qualified makes it the least safe vehicle...
I already bought a foundation so I have no skin in the game here⦠but it feels like for anyone who has been waiting to pull the trigger and qualifies for the credit, nowās the time.
Will Tesla just reduce the price by $7500? I have no idea. But feels like a good time to buy (any EV for that matter)
