Yep, almost fell for it myself.
A media wants so bad for it to be terrible, and theyāve brainwashed seemingly many millions of people into thinking it is.
On the one hand, you have non-owners / media bashing it.
On the other hand, you have people who have actually driven one believing it the...
Itās simple⦠society has not attached ideologies to this (or really any other) vehicle.
Owner of 99 percent of vehicles that has some kind of misfortune: āwhat a shame. I hope the manufacturer makes it right!ā
Cybertruck owner misfortune: āmore money than brains or taste showoff fascist got...
My kids havenāt noticed the zombies at all. I think because they canāt fathom a reason why anyone would be mean so theyāre not looking for it. They certainly see the thumbs up and positive reactions / questions in parking lots etc.
Good honest review in regards to it ābeing a real
Truckā or not.
If the definition of a real truck is a thing with a bed that drives like shit and has the maneuverability of the titanic, then no, itās not a truck.
But in terms of utility, itās absolutely a truck.
The only real issue is ultra...
Depend depends on how much of a rush you are in. And I guess which vehicle you want on the other side of the destination. If youāre not in a massive rush and itās a leisurely drive where you stop overnight at hotels, to get a bite to eat, etc, then CT. If itās about time, then definitely the gas...
Same as many of us here.
Saw it. Intrigued but traditional and social media says itās not only a disappointment, but a flop and riddled with issues.
Then we test drove it and realized itās far and above better than anything else on the market. Comfortable, quiet, versatile, and fun as hell. It...
I own one, but hereās my perspective:
2,000,000 preorders
Minus
1,000,000 dreamers. Even the original $50k cost was out of reach.
500,000 outpriced at current prices. Could have done 50, but 80-100 is financially impossible or irresponsible.
400,000 who can afford it, influenced not to buy...
Iām sorry to hear this. Youāre not the first person Iāve seen on here decide to sell because of the harassment and hate they were receiving while their kids were in the car.
Tough, especially if theyāre at an impressionable age.
Those reasons are spot on. The second in particular may be enough for someone not even to look at it. I still meet people that think itās $150,000. The initial hype of the launch and the whole celebrities get it first thing definitely seared into peoples heads.
I am seeing way more however over...
The other thing here is, with literally any thing or vehicle. Donāt bite off more than you can chew.
If you bought a cyber truck for $80,000, thatās a scary high number for you, and you financed so much that you have negative equity and we need to sell out cash you may not have just to sell it...
Cars arenāt a bad investment. They arenāt an investment at all. New cars burn money. There is a thing called a depreciation curve. Most depreciation happens very early on, and slows down over time. Say a CT has gone down by $25k⦠will it be $25k less in July 2026? $25k less in July 2027? $25k...
