Why does everyone act like Tesla is still a strapped for cash start-up? Especially Tesla. Look, if TWRAPS or another small business on this forum wanted to ask for some grace for a minute while they get some wins, I'm all about it. Tesla, not so much.
Sounds like TWRAPS could offer a v1 and v2 SKU?
I got the v2 and I agree, I don't love the lip. But it was an easy drop in, and I can remove it if I want to. I also grabbed their screen protectors and they were the easiest install I've ever done on a screen protector.
Good on you for "proving yourself" to the naysayer ultra-fans on this forum. I've been a Tesla fan for a very long time. It's because I'm such a big fan that I want this information available, in naive hopes that it's seen as feedback by some folks from Tesla that lurk these forums. I wish some...
I had 4, 7, and 10. Plus an awful creaking sound out of the center console and a death wobble from 74+ MPH (sometimes slower). And in the repair for 7 they broke a trim piece under the BAW and messed up the gasket/trim from the base of the windshield to the top of the frunk.
Not Tesla's fault...
For hardware, it would be really nice to have an option for a rear view display in place of the useless mirror. For being a "technology company" they seem to miss the boat sometimes in the simplest ways.
That's wild. They're the ones fixing my truck. That was the first step in trying to solve my problem. How long ago did they tell you they couldn't do it? If you're still around Vegas you could probably re-attempt.
My truck is in service for new half shafts now. Hopefully this does the job. Interesting that Las Vegas said they couldn't do balances, they did mine. @Cybergirl -which location, east or west?
I've had it for a few days now. For some reason the car will randomly act like I just saw the new software for the first time (blue dots on everything that's "new"). Is anybody else experiencing this?
I would love to trade my wheels. I wonder if the service center will have access to the new wheels any time soon. On a related note - has anybody that already has their truck gotten wheel covers from Tesla yet?
I don't know.... I could try a science experiment today to find out. But it'll be at a deficit because I can't reach my 240 outlet while my rig is hooked up, and I'm not unhooking for a 10 minute experiment! Which brings up a real concern.... Supercharging with a rig attached... :(
WDH did great on the 28 mile drive home from the dealership. Recognize that 12k is over the limit for CT (11k limit). My rig is 9k empty, 10.7k max loaded. The truck handles it great though, so far.
I'm also looking forward to this. In theory I could charge my CT at a campground while using CT's 14-50 to run my camper. Even with both A/Cs running I think there would be plenty of juice to charge the CT battery.
Agree to disagree. To me, a promotional add-on would be something not listed as included equipment that's part of a paid package (like Foundation Series). For example, if it didn't list a T-shirt as part of the package, but gave me one, I would consider that a promotional add-on. In this case, I...
