I have the same issue. Definitely feels like a wheel balance issue. The service center refused to balance and said it's normal lol

It’s definitely not normal and they told me the same thing. I took it to discount tires for road force balance, they made it even worse the first time because they forgot to take down the old weights, the second time they claimed they fixed it…the vibration is less than before but still noticeable especially around 60mph. I am thinking that maybe the AT tires are just harder to balance especially for this brand new Goodyear wrangler Tesla spec. Currently I am waiting on all season tires so I can swap out the AT.I have the same issue. Definitely feels like a wheel balance issue. The service center refused to balance and said it's normal lol
I'm sure they can be properly balanced. I spoke with some other CT owners and they don't feel anything. It’s definitely not normal and they told me the same thing. Maybe they are not as sensitive as we are. Out of spec Kyle said in his review that the truck from Ben vibrates on highway and I DMed Ben he told me he does not feel any vibrations. The AT tires will have a rough ride anyway so I am counting on the all season.I'm sure they can be properly balanced. I spoke with some other CT owners and they don't feel anything.
Interesting…did you ask them to fix it?my truck has a vibration over 40mph and it feels like a u joint on a drive shaft is going bad. It's just for comparison and if you've experienced that then you know what I'm talking about. I can make it go away when I balance the motors between regen and powering motors while above 40mph.
As a diagnostic measure to confirm it is the tires, consider driving with 45 psi and then with 55 psi and note the difference if any.The model s is about the front motor because there is no vibration when you put it on track mode with 100% rear bias. I think in the update they tweaked the front drive unit to make it less vibrating.
I tried the same on the Cybertruck in Baja mode with 100% rear bias but it still vibrates.
I am leaning towards the tire because it vibrates a lot more with the OEM wheel balancing, after I rebalanced it at discount tires, it vibrates less and the vibration peaked at around 60mph, at 70-80 it actually vibrates less, but above 80 it vibrates more.
It’s hard for me to film the vibration because of the steer by wire because it vibrates with the entire truck rather than visual steering wheel shakes.
West SaharaMy truck is in service for new half shafts now. Hopefully this does the job. Interesting that Las Vegas said they couldn't do balances, they did mine. @Cybergirl -which location, east or west?
That's wild. They're the ones fixing my truck. That was the first step in trying to solve my problem. How long ago did they tell you they couldn't do it? If you're still around Vegas you could probably re-attempt.West Sahara
