Yea FSD isn't there for tight garage parking, plenty of brunched mirrors and fenders on the forums showing that. Parking bumper at least lets you dial in exactly where to stop

The only real fixes the truck needs are longer range, and a mid-gate. Both of which are not happening, so like Griswold said waiting is only denying yourself a great vehicle.

At this point it is pretty straightforward. Tesla delivers the Cybercab and FULL Self Driving in the next 12-24 months, you can jump in your truck and take a nap or send it to pick your kids up from soccer. Or they don't and people who have been following FSD progression for 10+ years will...

The problem is the vampaire battery drain, you are going to lose 3-10% battery per day with the truck just sitting there, driving some on top of that the 110v is not going to be enough to keep up if you decide to go somewhere on the weekend etc.

Difference for law enforcement would be an interesting angle, think early on it might lead to getting pulled over more, and then eventually less.
