But that doesn’t set the foundation series apart when buying a used foundation series, like you said there was a time when you could buy FSD lifetime for non-foundation series trucks. Those would be just as “set apart “ as the foundation series.
A used foundation is just as “cool” as a used...
The founders edition wasn’t special because of the truck, there is a bit of prestige in being on of the first to get one(if you where on the forum then, there were a lot of foundation owners complaining that it wasn’t as limited as they wanted). But it came with a lot of stuff. FSD, whole...
It looks very good and doesn’t look DIY. But doesn’t look factory. I probably should have gone this route. But I wanted to also see if I could design a factory quality(mines not, but close? Replacement part and 3D print it as well.
That is a nice solution, but factory look was more important to me. Does the key cars still work through the MagSafe chargers? Also I started with official Apple MagSafe, but the magnets they use were not strong enough to hold the phone in place on bumps or hard acceleration.
One thing to keep in mind, I had to move the original down to the base of the console(just kind of hangs in there), the original IS also the sensor for the keycard, so if you start your truck that way, or want to make a copy of the key, you’;l need to mount it so it works through the console...
Welcome to Tesla. They all do that, I hadn’t smelled it yet in my truck, but every car they make starts to have that smell. I hoped they had fixed it. In my Model S and 3, there was a foam cleaner that I would use and run it thro the HVac. It would work for about a year.
I didnt know they took 50%, that was my question. How do they get the 50% is my next question. I give them my referral, they “fulfill it”, Tesla gives me $250 in credit, how do they get their 50% From me?
My guess is it’s a friend or family member messing with you. I could see my friends doing this, or even me doing this. I might now send one to a buddy that drives a GMC, “Tired of paying $4+ a gallon just to drive a crappy GMC”.
I'm not seeing how you make your money. I don’t mind you making money, I’m curious how this makes money, if you took 10% of the referral id understand, and be ok with that. But as it stand now, it feels a bit scammy. To be clear, I’m not saying it is a scam, and I’m interested in doing this.
My understanding is that the biodefense system is a lot more than just a HEPA filter. It’s a positive pressure system that actually recycles air in the cabin while keeping it over pressurized so no outside air can get in. Adding a HEPA filter and turning the fan to high is not the same thing.
