    Should Reservation Price Increase?

Had to reread that. For a second I thought you were saying replace her ...if she didn’t agree to your CT. Well it made me chuckle

    Charging directly from solar panels

I hadn’t considered the utility ā€˜battery’ option. Especially as we have a peak and off peak tariff.

    Charging directly from solar panels

Thank you. 13Kwh is approx how much my home needs to run each day. (We don’t have or need AC). I don’t commute as go to sites all around the country so quite often do trips of 180 miles but some days it will sit at home all day too. The wind cooperates far more than the sun here...

    Charging directly from solar panels

Coming from a country with dismal sunlight hours, I considered wind generation. I live at a relatively high point where 150 years ago we had a windmill in our garden. The average wind speed for our area is 15 m/s but being right on top of the hill, and surrounded by fields I suspect we can...

    Long Range 2-motor?

I don’t dispute your figures but how does this figure into the equation...? As you say they could simply downsize batteries. https://www.tesmanian.com/blogs/tesmanian-blog/tesla-cybertruck-620-miles-range-500-range-tri-motor?_pos=1&_sid=3bbc6b2cf&_ss=r

Are Tesla orders shipped in the order in which you ordered?

It will also depend on which country you order and If you drive on the correct side of the road ;). I am around 150k in line which according to the current spreadsheet is about 12/13 months after production starts. Add the fact that the model 3 took 2 1/2 years to come to the UK, being realistic...

    Long Range 2-motor?

If battery tech significantly increases range across all trims, this would be a game changer both for towing and the competition. We can hope... I only ordered tri for range. I could see a much bigger market for the lower trims being much more affordable. Similarly those that have to tow will...

    Uk Pricing !

My thoughts are that I don’t think the RHD requirement is that big of an issue but I don’t work in auto engineering . What’s to change apart from the steering wheel and the pedals? The screen is central. Helpfully we have the Australians on our side (no pun intended) who have a massive ā€˜ute’...

    Uk Pricing !

Using the same comparison for Uk model x compared to price in US, I think you can assume the uk price will be USd x 104% I.e. US dollar 70k for tri motor ~ £73k. However that should include VAT, to make it ~£61k ex VAT for those who can claim it back. Edited :)

    South Australian Gigafactory

At least we could ensure the steering wheel is on the ā€˜right’ side.

Another Tesla killer bites the dust..

I actually think it’s a shame as competition is healthy for the consumer, albeit spec claims were dubious. https://www.engadget.com/dysons-electric-car-n526-085341772.html

    Tailgate port use?

I was wondering what the tailgate rectangular port will he used for. My guess would be 240v connection and/or air compressor, but would need connection to main body at hinge?
