I heard the same thing as you. As I said about a month ago when they announced the plaid I think it will be built first at a very high price to get cybertruck s out there and help pay for the manufacturing equipment till they can get the price down to build more affordable versions.
It was pretty clear to me that he said the truck couldn’t be built yet at an affordable price that would meet the promised specs. We all fell in love with the truck because of the fantastic specs at a ridiculously low price when compared to other electric vehicles. Maybe dropping the payload...
It’s not the heat generated that is the problem. It’s the greenhouse gases.
Sunlight makes the earth habitable. While 30 percent of the solar energy that reaches our world is reflected back to space, approximately 70 percent passes through the atmosphere to the earth’s surface, where it is...
I,m guessing the “roadmap” will be a sequence of things that have to happen before we see our cybertrucks. I don’t think it will have time associated with it. one of the requirements was the high energy chemistry 4680 which I doubt they have achieved yet. We may see short range test models but...
This looks like a huge storage shelf in front of the dash. If it is it seems like you would get a lot of annoying reflections off of the windshield. Or it could just be an unfinished area of a prototype. Either way something new to discuss
If I remember correctly I think deg C and deg F are the same at -40. When I worked in a cal lab we would acceptance test electronic instruments from -40 to 110f.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the four wheel motor version is priced like the model S plaid. It will be loaded…it will be expensive and the large profit margin will be used to help keep the prices on the other model down.

"Oh man, this year has been such a supply...
