Can't wait until Tesla does price the Cybertruck. And as a good sized shareholder, I hope he has a 20%+ profit margin built-into the that price. Whatever it turns out to be.
So there should be at least 300,000 that will pay $80,000 for a Cybertruck.
Rivian and Ford are both selling $80,000 pickups (ALBEIT not in large volume).
In theory, the Tesla should be "worth" more than either of those.
Hopefully after Tesla sells a good slug of $79,990 Mars Edition of the...
We own 2 EVs....neither were bought with the advantage of the tax credit, so I am okay buying the Cybertruck without it.
His lower estimates were if Tesla sold the Cybertruck with ZERO profit. I see no reason Tesla should sell their Cybertruck for no profit. They don't need to cut anyone a...
He walks thru his "estimate" for the Cybertruck pricing. He is using his best guess-o-meter.
Cybertruck price for a 354 mile range model = $79,990
He makes other estimates on price if Tesla were to sell it at no profit. (Which I can't see Tesla doing. They don't need to do that).
Bolt one of these steps onto the front of your boat trailer. (Opposite side of your crank)
It allows you to step from the bed of your truck, onto the step on the trailer and then onto the bow of your boat. Viola....never have to get in the water...
If you are a boat owner, and put your boat in and out of the water with your pickup, you are going to get wet with the Cybertruck.
Currently I can back the trailer/boat down the ramp until the rear tire is touching the water, exit the vehicle, walk back, step on the rear tire and "leap" into...
The Cybertruck is not having any effect.
(Unless someone in the top 50,000 of the waiting list also has a reservation for the Lightning)
If you want an EV pickup this year, you will buy the Lightning. If you want a Cybertruck, and don't have a reservation already, you are probably 4 years...
I don't want to pigeon hole it as "mid-sized" just yet. Heck last year we were all afraid it wouldn't fit in our garages and that it was going to be longer than a Ford F250.
If it's OUTSIDE dimensions are slightly less than the Ford Lightning, that will be a good thing. IMO.
I say it...
Interesting catch.
Franz did just sit into the truck. That was no F150, pull yourself up stepping on the runner to get in, entrance.
Hmmm. I think that will be a good thing.
It sounds like it will compete well with the Ford Lightning.
If it truly can get 450 miles of range, that will have a lot of appeal to some buyers.
Is it expensive? Yes. $77,000 for the WorK Truck model is pricey, but so is the Rivian and the Lightning and we assume the CyberTruck.
There...
I am selling the Lightning the day i get my Cybertruck VIN# by email!
(Although I really do love the Lightnting and am curious how much better the Cybertruck will be)
Camo trucks were spotted driving around California.
It is possibly they built them in Texas and flew them to California for testing.....but....it would have been easier to build them in Fremont.....all guessing.
The Osborne effect is more of an effect when you can get a product within a year or so.
As a November 2019 reservation holder, I don't expect to get my Cybertuck until late 2025.
NEW potential buyers of the CyberTruck will be waiting, IMO, until probably 2027 depending on how gentle the inital...
