He walks thru his "estimate" for the Cybertruck pricing. He is using his best guess-o-meter.

Cybertruck price for a 354 mile range model = $79,990

He makes other estimates on price if Tesla were to sell it at no profit. (Which I can't see Tesla doing. They don't need to do that).

I was gonna post this but didn't wanna risk starting ANOTHER pricing thread.

But

You picked his highest estimate lol.

Sounded like his actual estimate for that version was 69696 before tax credits

No way to really know though.

I'm still sticking with my, it'll be close to the Y estimate

Good thing I'm in Colorado!!!

I like Farzad and have followed him for a while but I feel like in the last month he has started throwing a lot of content out there and I hate to say it but it feels like he is becoming a little click bait e.

I think he has been off on his pricing analysis since he has started putting them out the last couple months. Previously he was comping the Raptor which means he feels it is not a mass market vehicle. I also think he is missing the mission statement for Tesla in all of this and a niche truck does not upend the truck segment.

Ah, Gus, a lot has changed since you came out of hibernation. 1 million bucks is really that much anymore.

Maybe 1 Billion!

I want to be Elon's "mini-me". Just not evil enough 😭
Think there is a size issue also, but hey listen, in todays world we all need to respect your right to identify as what ever or whom ever you please. Don't let your lack of evilness' stop you from your dreams.

We own 2 EVs....neither were bought with the advantage of the tax credit, so I am okay buying the Cybertruck without it.

His lower estimates were if Tesla sold the Cybertruck with ZERO profit. I see no reason Tesla should sell their Cybertruck for no profit. They don't need to cut anyone a break. There are 1-1.5 million people that have said they want a Cybertruck. I bet 300,000 of them will gladly pay $80,000 plus FSD for the Mars Edition. Which will consume production well into 2025.

Can't wait until Tesla does release the price....and starts delivering a few to customers (not employees).

There are 1.5 million people that have said they wanted a 39k -69k cybertruck.

So there should be at least 300,000 that will pay $80,000 for a Cybertruck.

Rivian and Ford are both selling $80,000 pickups (ALBEIT not in large volume).
In theory, the Tesla should be "worth" more than either of those.

Hopefully after Tesla sells a good slug of $79,990 Mars Edition of the Cybertruck, they will be able to bring the price down if a few years.

79990 is okay for a tri motor.

Dual motor with sub 400 is an L IMO.

this i find not very likely... IMHO there are about 300 -350 k TOTAL of all vehicles that will sell per year over 80k... NOT just pickups but overall.. do some looking up of luxury vehicle annual sales.. there just isn't that much market for vehicles that cost that much.
