Thank you for the quick replies. The difference between Sentry and dashcam makes sense. And I'm not worried about unwanted footage as much as I'm worries about sucking up battery unnecessarily. Could it be that sitting in the cab triggers dashcam recording? I just don't want it recording...

Just took delivery a few days ago. After a few short trips around town, I noticed my trips were being recorded. I have Sentry mode turned off and it stays off. But the status stays on "Recording". If I press it, it quickly saves footage and starts recording again. I turned the truck completely...

After reading and watching a bunch of videos on this debate, I've decided to go vinyl for 3 reasons: 1. Even though PPF provides longer life (~10 years) and I hope to keep the CT for close to that long, I imagine wanting to change the look before that. I would rather spend the price of PPF...

Thank you for sharing such a detailed experience. Super helpful! It's the first time I've heard someone mention the challenge of steering with your knee when you're trying to be hands free. Sounds dumb but it's become muscle memory over the years. Will be an interesting adjustment.

If there were a wrap that looked exactly like that Montana wrap, I would totally spend money on it. I'd rather see a perpetual grunge look than fingerprints. And, yes, I do plan on getting a wrap (CT still on order) but will likely choose vinyl over PPF.
