  1. Tesla Trailer Battery may be coming (new patent filed)

I can’t imagine any demand for this, the loss off efficiency from wind drag and weight would likely offset the range
  2. AWD VS BEAST

I’m tempted to test drive a beast out of curiosity after reading these comments….AWD is already incredibly fast especially for a large vehicle with a pickup bed….i can’t imagine what a beast must feel like
  3. First RWD Cybertruck on Cars and Bids Auction. What do you think its worth?

I would guess significantly less than 60k because of base AWD recently pricing but who knows, used cybertrucks have been more than new for a long time now, seems that people don’t realize the new pricing and just assume they are 6 figures new
  4. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

Extended cab in 2019 was for sure smaller in the back…..crew cab f150 rear is much bigger than almost anything….really more on par with a maybach or limo for legroom (a bit too much, would be better to have a 6’ bed with less legroom). Looking online quickly, F150 has 4-5” more shoulder/hip...
  5. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

My f150 was about 10% bigger Cybertruck fits fairly easy in garage but lightning wouldn’t, interior of lightning was bigger (esp rear seating area) Cybertruck is more reasonable size though even for family of 5…..it’s in between full size and medium size trucks. (Closet to full size but not quite)
  6. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

Yeah, I didn’t realize it, for some reason ford bed seemed bigger but by volume that isn’t the case
  7. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

I went to AWD CT and have to disagree on this CT performance, speed and handling is better Bluecruise is great but FSD is on another level, really no comparison, I can eat breakfast in CT while it drives me to work from driveway to parking lot
  8. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

Interesting, I didn’t realize the bed volume was bigger on CT, so that is another pro for CT
  9. Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

I went from a Lightning Lariat SR to a CT just over a year ago. I've had a number of F150's and the lightning was very much like the ICE version....I had it for almost 2 years (bought it used with low mileage). CT is significantly better for me, I was very familiar with Tesla before...
  10. $69,990 is new price for Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck

I have what now is called premium but I certainly would have bought the base for even the 10k less, less to go wrong and better value proposition, my kids would miss the rear screen but otherwise it has all the features I would need
  11. $69,990 is new price for Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck

And all of this is retail pricing…..I suspect it is a net 2-3k difference with the rear screen and air suspension…..maybe as much as 5k with all changes from the 2 trims…..not that this is any different than other manufacturers……a platinum F150 that is 30-40k more than an STX likely only costs...
  12. $69,990 is new price for Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck

this makes sense….hopefully they can get the 70k price down. Although I suspect they will have in stock inventory once they catch up with the 60k orders and then they typically do discount in stock inventory based on supply/demand (mine Was $4500 off last year and my brother bought a model y a...
  13. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

They have bigger margins on those two so there may be a reason…..the air suspension, extra speakers and rear screen cost them a lot less than 20k…probably more like 2-3k extra so those price estimates make a lot of sense
  14. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

I see you had a lightning, I did too (2022 for a couple years)….was SR and range (or lack of) was an issue for me. how do you like the sierra? (I had an ICE sierra in the past and the sierra EV is nice) Agree 100%….without the media driven perception the CT would do really well at this price...
  15. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

Funny, my wife was really against the CT and then I got it and she initially didn’t want to drive it (I was fine with that as it was my DD), then she needed it for getting some plants/shrubs and thats all it took….I ended up having to wrench it away from her and she still wants to drive...
  16. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

That’s what sealed the deal for me a year ago….I love wranglers and gladiators but CT makes them feel like Fred Flinstone….although I do have a JK that I enjoy driving at times
  17. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

It is strange, I’m part of the jeep wrangler, gladiator and raptor crew myself Now with AWD CT and love it but got an older JK wrangler to wrench on and topless in the summer……it’s great but also reminds me how much is needed on ICE vehicles…..85k miles and already needed radiator, hvac...
  18. $59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

I was just looking at that, strange that they put the 285/70/18s on the RWD, 285/75/18 would be a closer match although range is likely better with the smaller tire diameter. IMO the 18s are awesome though…..would either go with stock tires or bump up to 285/75/18 (either tire comes in many...
