  1. Aftermarket Front Receiver / Hitch Mount for Cybertruck? (For Snow Plow)

I did but on the rear, it took about 10 minutes, had to unbolt a stubborn hex screw to just set the depth within the reciever......it is really nicely made, love the rubber blade.....for once excited for snow. I saw the front reciever bumper but those prices are much too high. the guy who I...
  2. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

I agree, maybe this is mostly location specific but prior FSD was still impressive but this is on another level.....on mad max in NJ at least it drives like I drive and very smooth, only maybe 2 minor issues since last week, otherwise it is perfect.
  3. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

after 2 days of using it I am very impressed....mad max actually drives nicely (I thought it would be too aggressive but I find I don't need to supplement throttle while using FSD in that mode) negatives: more phantom wipes (not sure why) it still makes a very rare error (in my case in middle...

  6. Aftermarket Front Receiver / Hitch Mount for Cybertruck? (For Snow Plow)

nice, the snowbear looks good if you can do front hitch but not sure if it will work rear
  7. Apple CarPlay coming to Tesla as soon as end of year!

I was just thinking the same, damn ordered the extra screen (showing up this weekend)....now I probably wouldn't need it although still good as a reference for speed, etc...and probably would not nag FSD. what are your thoughts on the screen, would you have gone without it if you went back...
  8. I need 2" front hitch receiver for my Cybertruck. Availability?

nice bumper but wow, that is a lot (i'm used to jeep bumpers though)
  9. Aftermarket Front Receiver / Hitch Mount for Cybertruck? (For Snow Plow)

that probably would work for me...I live in NJ but close to the shore so not much snow typically can also not drive over it first most of the time. only thing is my driveway slopes down a good amount (thinking that will help but not sure) and I have a circle drive in front of the house that...
  10. Aftermarket Front Receiver / Hitch Mount for Cybertruck? (For Snow Plow)

how do you like those snowsport/rediplow reverse plows? looks like they at least work, are easy to maintain and fit the CT (or any other vehicle with a receiver).....found a couple on FB marketplace....might grab one

  12. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

Sorry, I may be using the wrong term with power share. I think they used to call it power sharing in the manual
  13. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

You don't set the car to 44AMPS (I think you can do that but that is not what you want). You set the max powershare amount to 44AMPS which then only allows the sum of all wall connectors to pull 44AMPS total.....I have 3 wall connectors setup this way such that they can pull either 14amps each...
  14. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

Why 40A? My calculation is 44A is fine and that’s what I set PowerShare max to….55x.8=44A
  15. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

Good points, not sure why my electrician did the 6/2 romex, I did question it but he said it was fine, also why my town approved it…..I may switch it out to 4 or 3 so that I can run a higher total amperage with PowerShare
  16. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

Good point My electrician installed the first wall charger with 6/2 romex and a 60amp which many do for Tesla chargers and set to 48 amps after calculating things myself I found that it should really be 44 amps max (55 amp wire with 80% continual use). I then added the sub box and additional...
  17. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

You have it right except I have 2 (actually 3 now that I added another charger) 60amp breakers in the subpanel……yes it is like a redundancy and also makes it easy to cut power to one charger if needed…..I would have just added a 6 gauge wire splitter but instructions for v3 charger indicate subpanel
  18. Adding a 2nd Tesla home charger and tapping the wires.

can easily setup Powershare (that is what tesla calls it) between v2 and v3 wall chargers. I have 3 chargers on 1 60amp breaker (6 guage wiring so I set it to 44amps total) if charging one vehicle the full 44amps goes to it, if 2 then 22 amps each, if 3 then 14.7amps each. the beauty of it is...
  19. Are these the same brake caliper covers?

no signs of rattle they seem to fit pretty tight, but if they start rattling, I think I’m just gonna put a little bit of 3M double-sided tape inside them to pad it and keep them tighter
