This makes sense…..bed plugs operate like a standard generator….I suspect they can do so because of the tonneau cover built into the truck

I put 15,000 into car loan calculator……then with 6.675 nj sales tax and 7% interest on the loan (I think around current rate but might be a bit high)…..i then had to adjust it up to 350 months to get the payment to drop close to $99/month

Correction, over 29 years of $99 per month to make up that Luxe charge, this was a major price cut across all trims

In that case you’re looking at close to 20 years to payback the amount with interest…..way better deal now

I get your point but for many of us that rent deal is way better…..I’ll take $99 per month over $8,000 or whatever FSD was…..keep money in the market earning interest and it would take years to make that up, by that time many of us switch cars (figure 7-8 years to make up the amount) and FSD for...

I think smugglers bay gone but power tonneau I don’t use that under bed storage much and this is cleaner so not bad

Having owned both a lightning (with 7.2kw plug) and now CT with the 11kw bed plug and having an interlock and old gas generator I have the experience you talk about above (lightning would trip unless I removed the ground connection…which is likely not to code…..CT works great plug and play like...

Similar story for me, second owner of lightning lariat…..57k for me with 10k miles, sold for around 43k It was a great truck but CT is def better

still $68k is a lot....most used vehicles drop a lot more than that (an F150 lariat 1 year old would be around 15-20k lower than new msrp)

Crazy that AWD are that high (I’m happy about it), that’s more than new for me between 7500 rebate and 4k in discounts
