Supposedly you fill up your battery at off peak rates/times , then sell back to the grid when the power is worth more. Sounds good if you’re not actually driving that day.
I wonder about how you would power the dish. The mini has options to power from a usb-c or even off of 12v. Also I have used the mini from the front dash and now mounted to a rack and have never had issues with signal. The phased array plus all the new satellites. I wonder if the high...
How does the 7-pin port handle the 12v output for battery charging? I have a battery that I want to solar trickle charge. Would the 7-pin controller have a problem with battery fluctuating up to 15v?
I have the tailgate lights mounted higher on a roof-rack bar. Ran a 7-pin extension from the hitch up just inside the stainless to pop out where the rack mounts. Also added an additional switched spotlight running off the 12v output of the 7-pin aiming inside the bed. I also mounted a lightbar...
It’s a work charger with with enphase chargers. The charger wasn’t working right and the truck didn’t see it so it didn’t know that the adapter was still attached. The unlock button was not available.

I had a problem with a charger at work not releasing. After releasing with the manual release I routed the release to an opening. This is in case I need to use it again and don’t want to have to pull panels apart. Thankfully this has not been needed since.
I’ve done similar with 2040 extrusions and a custom bracket to interface with the stock mounts under the plastic doors. Then used 2040 extrusions to connect side to side. Have L-tracks mounted at bed. Solar panels above glass roof, starlink mini mount at top of bed. 50’ light bar mounted at...
I used to keep a bougerv fridge in the back seat connected with to an ecoflow power station which in turn was plugged into the 110ac in the cybertruck. Now it’s in the bed plugged into an ecoflow power station but that is plugged into 2 solar 100w panels . The panels are mounted on a custom roof...
I have my mini powered from the top power as well and a light bar also powered. I have the light bar controlled separately by a wifi controller that I bought from Amazon. I don’t think it’s legal to drive on city streets with the light bar on. The light bar I use is also a 24v and used a step...
There are over 4 bus controllers. Even split, you would still be able to steer and drive the front tires, maybe even the rears if the cables were still intact. The batteries are under the occupant section so the split didn’t involve the batteries.
I know that the mobile charger works from the 240v outlet in the bed so I am sure that the neutral is definitely bonded to the ground, otherwise the charger would have an error when used to charge other ev’s from the cybertruck.
