I was coming home from store down my normal road using solely FSD. Then out of no where the truck veers left into the oncoming lane. No one was there but the Tesla vision detected there was a deceased animal in the road nothing large but still avoided it without me doing...
I struggled with FSD in my CT when it came to my property. I live on acreage and FSD would stop along the main community road nearest to my home marker.
The driveway to access my property is covered by trees in many areas - these trees obstructed the satellite view.
The incomplete satellite...
I just picked up my new Cybertruck yesterday and took it on a 2+ hour drive down I-5 to get it home. While cruising at highway speeds, the truck has a slight surging/jerking/bouncy feeling. It is only evident when FSD is active and holding a constant speed, like it is constantly micro...
I drove back from Oklahoma City to Santa Fe, New Mexico and at 3 road construction zones where two lanes became one using orange barrels my cybertruck was going to pile into them and not change lanes under FSD. 3 TIMES! I did send the voice incident reports after canceling FSD.
To me this is asking for trouble!!!
Please comment your current setup what percentage are you using?
to leave this at Tesla recommendation has anyone gotten a ticket or a warning due to this offset recommendation?
I think personally it’s way to high of an offset and not wise to use this...
I had to go pickup a big item at a store that is 1 1/2 hours away (Highway, Freeway, and City driving).
FSD got me there, door to door.
Loaded the box - which was 6" longer than the bed, so I couldn't put the tailgate up.
Then - any attempt to engage FSD resulted in a "Autosteer not available"...
I have a hitch-mounted bike rack that really messes up FSD. I understand this is an edge case and Tesla will probably deploy either an option to turn off the rear camera or build this into their models. Just wanted to discuss and present a solution that works pretty well.
Here's a view of my...
When not in a hurry, I take a specific route using mostly back roads and a short stretch of freeway for the scenic aspect and also to save energy. I keep having to fight FSD, disengaging, making turns manually, then reengaging FSD many times. Is there a way to save a specific route path (road...
It's called "FSD Supervised (Autosteer on City Streets)"

FSD was an amazing surprise as I started with VS 13.2.8 in my CT as my first experience with it. I use it almost exclusively for getting around! But what has been your experience? Trust it? Enjoy it? Nervous with it?
We did a road trip and headed back from Kennedy Space Center to our home in a suburb outside of Fort Lauderdale, total drive was 207 miles. I used full self driving completely on our way home today. Zero interventions, zero disengagement, zero screams from the wife, hell she even slept for 90...
I went in to the SC for tire rotation and while I was waiting, I talked to an 8 1/2 year Tesla employee about FSD and where I had a problem. I told him there was a 4 way blinking red light intersection, and that my CBCT would "roll" through the light. I would report the intersection to Tesla...
Now that I have FSD, I have the luxury to “quickly” check what other drivers are doing, especially during bumper-to-bumper traffic. I was expecting probably one out of 5 drivers might be distracted. It’s INSANE how many people are distracted while driving - checking phones, doing makeup, eating...
This is probably the very best channel to follow for extremely interesting insights into how the close we are to explosive growth in FSD capabilities. A funny little tidbit about the rewards and punishment systems for Tesla FSD is that we (owners/drivers) are the ones dishing it out!
Every time...
I briefly tested FSD 13.2.7
TLDR: I got mixed results:
- the car occasionally gets stuck at stop signs (still, sigh)
- I noticed a few navigation and mapping issues that were not there before
Probably it's location-related (I think in the US it'll be better, but not in Canada ). It is still...
If I look at my screen more than 1-2s I get a warning. No chime, nothing but the single line message. On the 2nd+ warning, I get the blue flashing. If I don’t violently shake the wheel I get a strike. I had 3 strikes the first day of ownership, and was in jail on day 3. I read online where...
FSD 13.2.5, tested in the Cybertruck
I saw some people praising this build, so I had been waiting for it. However, when I finally got it, it felt slightly off—at least in the Cybertruck, as other Tesla owners don't seem to have these issues, afaik.
It's my honest opinion. TLDR: it's still...
In speaking with a Tesla rep during a recent service center visit, I learned that FSD can be bought at any time after purchasing a Cybertruck. With an $8k price tag, it definitely adds lot to the final price of the vehicle. How often do you use FSD? 1-10, mostly never to every time you drive...
Fellow nerds,
What's your best ideas as to why Telsa flashes the IR LEDs during an FSD telemetry upload? The pattern seems to match ethernet port activity lights.
For reference, I drove 30 miles total today, and about 95% (or higher) was while FSD was engaged. Parked the truck in the driveway...
