Sorry, I just don't get wrapping the HFS exterior of a Cybertruck that Tesla material science engineers worked so hard to create.

Many buyers will wrap because it looks nicer at the soccer field or mall parking lot. Not sure this color accomplished that but some wraps look nice enough to draw attention. Plus plenty of these wraps will be posted in pictures from driveways to social media. Its a prop just like most Jeeps sold that never off-road. Relatively few Cybertrucks will spend time where its engineered strengths are needed.

I think the point is that that some wraps will look worse than stainless steel to most people. Should all of social media be an echo chamber?

I said it's clear what the point of the wrap is (to change the color because they didn't want silver). I have no idea what you're even trying to get at with this comment. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I don't like it personally. I think green can look good but not pine green.

A few questions and a comment.
1. How long does this last?
2. What does this cost?
3. What is the advantage of wrapping vs painting?
3. The chemistry of the stainless steel is no longer your advantage if a car door opens on the vehicle, hail storm etc.

3M Vinyl wraps:
1. Depends on the vehicle’s exposure to the sun, in Texas it can start fading within 2 years.
2. My MS cost $4k plus $500 for chrome delete. (But I had a $2500 quote from a shady “company”.)
3. Just depends on what you are protecting the vehicle from.
4. With the quality of Tesla vehicles, I wouldn’t think those will be an issue generally speaking.
