independent brightness control from the main display.

No cable received, giving it another week and then I’ll remove this dash display. If I have to choose one - dash display or rearview mirror camera- I have to go rearview mirror camera.

Well that sucks if it has independent brightness control because then you are having to manually adjust it for day and night driving or else leave it somewhere in between. I have an old Hansshow screen on my Model 3 from like 5 years ago that synchs its brightness with the main screen of the Model 3. I'm shocked that none of these Cybertruck screens seem to be able to do that.

I'd be interested in this as well. My aftermarket rear view cam powers on in front of the passenger seat in the foot area though.

Here is my installation and review video of the Teslaunch 10.88" dashboard display. For those keeping score at home, it was delivered to me a few weeks ago but I needed some time to shoot and edit, so the last 3 weeks is on me.

All in all, super-crisp display, easy to use, supports OTA updates via WiFi (I updated after installing), multiple UI skins and you can connect via Bluetooth for wireless CarPlay or Android Auto - yes I show this in my video as well. Really well built unit.

Here is the video:

+ fires up quickly and easily
+ has passthrough vents with adjustable vanes for airflow
+ in perfect sync with center display
+ If you want CarPlay/Android Auto = you now have it, rejoice and be merry!

- installation manual is not great, watch my video to find where all the connector splices are located and it will save you a lot of time and heartache
- should be tapping in to drivers side for power, reason being is I can only power my rearview mirror camera or this display as neither splice is passing through power to the other. Will have to see if I can route power via USB-C to one of them

Nothing yet. Has been sub-freezing (as low as 30 below freezing) for about a month and I'm hesitant to remove bits as I know I'll break clips in this weather. Waiting for above freezing conditions to take a run at it, hoping next week or the following.

My garage stays a bit warmer, but is a very tight fit for the truck so I can't open the passenger door if I leave room to get in the driver's door.

Warmer weather can't come soon enough!

Well I had the secondary screen install go sideways today when after I updated the screen over the air the screen no longer displayed information from the truck. What version are you running on your screen? I took a picture of the version on the one I have so we can compare. Did you ever update yours over the air? Additionally, the 3 places that you tap in, for the small one under the carpet I only found a fitting to plug into, there wasn't really a need for a male and female connector because there was nothing to daisy chain. Was yours the same way for that connector? The ECU connector and power connector both needed to be daisy chained.

That is just Covenant cryptoghraphic code...I think they are to your presence on Earth and apparently hacked your console. Just get Cortana or 343 Guilty Spark to help you decipher it....may take the the Sacred Icon depending on the level of Covenant cryptography used...
