Any company coming up with camper shell yet?

I would think that would make CT carry more load and helping with aerodynamics and thus range.
Yeah, there are lots of trucks out there now, I am finding it hard to beleive that there hasn't been any announcement from a traditional truck camper company like Lance, Northern Lite, Adventurer, Arctic Fox, Cirrus, etc to come up with something.

They probably believe that after all the Tesla fan boys buy one for commuting in the city, sales will stall to nothing. :ROFLMAO:

Never judge a book by it's cover.

I got a second load of firewood for my ski cabin yesterday. The Cybertruck packs a heavy load in such a superior manner compared to our F-150 that it's not even a contest. This thing is amazing when heavily loaded. The driving dynamics around tight corners, the bump compliance, the quietness, the power and performance, it's unreal compared to any other truck I've driven. That makes it safer too, especially when fully loaded.

This was far easier to load/unload than my F-150 due to the lack of wheel wells that will typically mess up my loading pattern, as well as the low bed height (when dropped to Entry Mode). The lack of wheel wells means I was able to fit more rounds in because they make the bed very difficult to load compactly and always greatly reduce the amount that will fit (unless hauling loose materials like bark or soil). Even with bark and soil the wheel wells make it more difficult to unload.

Anyone who says the Cybertruck is not a truck, or not designed for doing real work, doesn't know what a truck is! The low bed height allowed me to unload the truck without getting in the bed until it was time to clean it out with a blower after unloading. That is a big deal in terms of energy expenditure, it makes unloading so much easier. In my F-150 I'm generally in/out of the bed a handful of times.

The tailgate has a feature I haven't seen documented. Notice how it's tilted up about 15-20 degrees from level to prevent the load from rolling out? There are two positions the swaged cables that support the tailgate can be clipped into:

Normal, parallel to the ground:

This is 21 rounds averaging ~95 lbs. each for a total load (including tools and myself) of just under 2400 lbs. The truck drove superbly, almost like there was no load at all. I had to descend some steep sections of road that have broken pavement, missing pavement sections, potholes and rocks. It felt so solid I couldn't believe it. Handling was still nimble for dodging the biggest hazards and the load rode like a champ, unlike in my F-150 that would be sagging in the rear, and hitting bumps harshly, upsetting the load.

This was another all-electric wood cutting adventure, I didn't even need to fire up my gas saw. I always bring it as a backup but the 120V outlet works great for a 2 battery rotation, one on the charger, one in the saw. I even put one of the batteries in my Husqvarna blower which made quick work of cleaning up the road when I was finished.

Dang! I love those mud patterns. No way they would look as good on a blue, red or black plastic wrapped Cybertruck. It would just look icky. On the stainless it looks cool!

Over 2,000 pounds of rubber mulch for the kids playground. Was able to close the tonneau cover jumped on the high way and the CT drove like nothing was in the bed. Truly amazing truck.

Transporting equipment and instruments for the local middle school jazz band. They were performing at a nearby senior living facility. Needed all 6ft of vault space to close the tailgate with that music stand rack.

I’ll record the performance once it starts.
