Hear me out:

The European Cybertruck is going to be matte black.

Why?

Because they will never get the steel plates to comply with EU pedestrian safety regulations.

So how to solve this?

Get rid of the stainless steel and change it all to the same material as the Cybertruck fenders. Making the standard EU Cybertruck matte black

Downside:
-No longer bulletproof.

Upside:
+Much lighter (+3.5ton requires a different drivers license?), probably about 200kg less.
+More range, adds probably up to 50+km.
+Better acceleration.
+Better handling as the weight becomes even lower to the ground.
+Easy and cheap to replace scratched/damaged panels. (even tough the overall esthetic allows visible scratches. Makes it more cyberpunk)

It also has safety issues; the side plates are an integral part to structure.
It's not really an option.

And you are assuming that Tesla won't be able to get it approved as-is.

A few thin trim pieces that are stainless steel are held on by clips but the major quarter panels that are stainless steel are held by STRUCTURAL adhesives (NOT clips).

Take a look at some of the side collisions and tell me that weren't an important part of the safety.

I believe that the doors don't have internal struts, because the panels provide the same function.

As of today there are at least 2 CT registered in EU - one in Czech Republic, next one in Austria.
I know about one more getting through "Europeization" in Poland - with high chances to be registred soon.

You’ll need to shrink it down considerably too. Large cars and trucks aren’t very popular in Europe.

The stainless is load bearing, it stiffens the structure significantly, especially the from the doors back. The doors are on hinges - they are only structural in a crash.

A Cybertruck without the hard frickin' steel is not a Cybertruck. It would need to be completely re-engineered.

I can see that most people, even many who are Cybertruck enthusiasts, can still look at the Cybertruck and not understand what they are seeing.

There are numerous bolts too, that clamp the panels to the aluminum substructure. There's a reason the thing drives like it's carved out of a single block of metal.
