Day 139 - Beast, saw a guy post that he was a 12/21 Beast config the other day in FL with delivery scheduled. Can still edit design through website, not sure if that goes away when getting close but it has become one of my app refresh checks now.

Does anyone have screenshots of what it looks like if you can edit the order? Some posters have referred to the app, but I don't see any place to modify my order. I can't see any place to edit the order. Admittedly, I don't want to edit the order, but I'm just curious if I'm looking in the right place.
Also, does anyone have confirmation or at least correlated the lack of ability to edit with an impending VIN designation?

For me, if I go to the web page, select the truck, then go to Manage Order (maybe there was a 'View Details' step? Can't remember), I see this:
I think it's the 'Edit Design' button that stops appearing for those who are close to VIN.

Good question. I don't think I ever checked. I'm not sure. It might have always been there so you could switch from AWD to Beast and vice versa, but I can't say for certain.

When my invite to configure arrived on 12/8/2023. It took me 3 days to decide to pull the trigger on a $120K Beast vehicle. So actual config deposit was 12/11/2023. Thats 150 days ago. It read delivery would be Jan-Mar. So me being totally excited I figured I better sell my 2018 Model 3. And it sold fast in 5 days. So I'm without a vehicle for 145 days. Not cool. I'm seeing owners take delivery every week of Beast trucks with higher RNs and later config dates than mine. Of course, I've called and spoken to Tesla reps a few times. Found a way to get to a human through Finance dept. Twice I was told I'd likely get my Cyberbeast in the next few weeks another rep in Finance told me expect a VIN after 120 days from config date at that point the 120 day mark was a week away. Nope those didn't happen. That was a month ago.
For me there is no option to change interior or wheels only to cancel the order. For me the financing decision only lasted 30 days. Then I would re-decision the loan. Which hits my credit again. I learned from Tesla reps this isn't necessary but that's when I could get them on the phone. Now with all the Tesla layoffs. There is no one to answer the phone anymore. By looking at X and this forum I've concluded my location doesn't matter (I'm in So Cal) and my LOW RN1127560xx doesn't matter either. Getting a VIN is more like hitting the Tesla lottery.
The Happy Ending
This morning when I opened the Tesla app I saw something NEW. A Tesla request to send insurance details and the app shows I have a VIN!!! After a torturous 150 days since configuring, I'm one step closer. No delivery date was shown even after sending my insurance details. Now the app once again is telling me they will let me know next steps. So I wait.

Holy shit 150 days...but glad to hear that you finally got a VIN. Tesla should throw in something extra for that nonsense.

Just got my VIN before bed app refresh! Config on 12/21 Beast VIN on 5/13, waiting on delivery schedule to show up and I have more tasks in the morning, in IL.
