I believe the armor and transparent metal comments only referred to the windshield. I could very well be wrong, but that’s my understanding. Cybertruck and Semi will (or do) share this same windshield glass. Time will tell.

Because of Cybertruck windshield acute angle it would be harder for Franz to demo.
Testing against vertical side windows should have made better demo and it sure did.

Couple years before Cybertruck reveal Tesla had already demoed windshield Armor Glass

I assumed that if Cybertruck had armor glass side windows that the most important glass for impacts in the vehicle ( the windshield ) for sure would be armor glass.
