7 ECUs show updated (down from 21 in the .3 update). This is the second in a row that updated the wiper motor ECU.

The HVBATT update is interesting - maybe it brings the increased supercharger speeds.

didn't even think about checking this service menu, no idea it had this level of detail. Wish this was captured somewhere online to review.

The CT has cabin radar? I had to have the specially installed in my X and it was terrible and I hated it (alarm set off all the time).

Yup. Are the alarms on the X from the cabin camera or radar? I thought I read in the manual if there’s an obstruction like wearing sunglasses, the alarms resort to the older methods of monitoring like pressure on the steering wheel).

my X has no cabin camera. I’m referring to the security alarm not the FSD nag. Tesla use to sell an interior radar upgrade to enhance the security system.

I forgot to chime in that this update installed just fine for me with no issues in terms of download speed or installation speed or any ill effects thus far. I recall some were saying they had issues with this update, but I have not.

Just updated mine. Have not driven the CT yet after the update to v12 ⁦(2024.20.6 642f2d067ae6)⁩. However, I do concur that it was quicker than the estimated 55 mins and battery percentage stayed at 85% (yes, I keep mine charged to 85%, but now that battery life seems a lot better at idle I'll look to start respecting the recommended 80% -:) ).

Not sure if it's related to the update but since I put it in I've been having trouble with the frunk. It seems more sensitive to resistance and it takes two or three attempts to close it. If there's anything, even just a cloth bag, touching the door as it closes it will not latch. It will still close if I put a little bit of pressure down on it.

Definitely agree with that! The battery consumption during "Parked - Asleep" status went down drastically. I lost the worst 2-3% per day, now for 2.5 days, I lost from 50% to 49% unplugged, staying idle without any climate control engaged.

Version numbers are significant. CY.XX.YY where CY is Calendar Year (not meaningful) means XX is a major release and YY is a minor release. If CY were significant then CY would mean major release which would be limited to annual major releases. That would make XX a minor release which could include new features leaving YY for bug fixes and patches.

Improvement of an existing feature would be in line with a YY update. We already had DC Fast Charging. This makes it better. If we equate this to semantic versioning then we can only expect major new releases annually, which is better than all major car manufacturers but not quite best practices for a software company.
