Disappointed that it does not make it to the initial release.

Unfortunately, you just have to wait. The updates are distributed by waves to various configurations of vehicles and geographic regions. Advanced will help, but doesn’t mean you get it on day one.

the other thing that helps is ensuring your truck is on wifi whenever possible. WiFi is always prioritized over LTE for software updats.

The waiting game can be rough!

make sure the “Advance” is selected under Software Update Preferences

I got really tired of my wife screaming when it happens.

Either that or the get me a passenger seat ejector.
