2024.32.5.4 Update Now Rolling Out

I just got the beast last Friday, a week ago. Turned on advanced updates two days ago. Got
2024.32.5.4 notification on my phone asking if I wanted to install. I said yes. An hour later the phone app said installation was complete. I haven't been in the truck since. I will check it out this afternoon.

It’s a bit far from the curb on parallel parking

Parking works fine except diagonal parking does not. Can anyone explain?

Diagonal parking tends to be head-in only. It seems like auto park only backs in or parallel parks

Not beyond opening the app if I need to unlock the vehicle or check on charging/battery level which I may do daily. At that point it tells me if there is an update available.

Allow me to rephrase, I have not purchased a Google phone, dongle or physical apparatus, an unknown service may slip through the cracks, now and again, but no one is perfect.

I agree. The release note is identical. Since it was pushed out so quickly, it must do some urgent fixes.

I'm wondering if there are other 'behind the scenes' changes to powertrain coding because my truck has been driving differently since the autopark/frunk update on Monday. The sound and delivery was VERY different after I updated.. I'm going to restart the truck and take it for a drive before this update pushes, and then if it's still doing this (deeper sound on the motor whir, stiffer feel on acceleration, less regen feel, more tension on the wheel when turning - after 10,000+ miles in a few months, I can just TELL it's different since that update) I'll probably get a SC appt.

There’s a groaning/straining like sound and slight vibration somewhere between 0-45mph and during regen. I have SC appointment on Oct 3rd to get it checked out.

Parallel parking works well, but is still slightly too far away from the curb. It probably wouldn't be as noticeable if the truck itself wasn't so wide.

Backing the truck in works really well! However, in my latest attempt, there was a car coming towards me and trying to pass, human me would've waited for them to pass then attempt to start backing into the spot. The truck just didn't a F and turned towards him then started backing up. When it paused and had to pull forward again to make the adjustment, the car who wasn't too patient tried to advance again... I ended up just taking over and finishing the job.

All other few attempts have been great though.

I had a similar case, you can actually give it some”gas” and it’ll go faster.

Got the update today, went to download at home. Started to download, I interrupted it to move the truck closer to the house for a better WiFi signal, now it’s not there. Fml…. Did that happen to anyone else?
