2024.8.8 Update

I just received a new push for 2024.8.8. Previously I had .8.2(I think) pushed to me and then it disappeared. Has anyone installed this latest version?

Just upgraded to this from 2024.2.100 (this is first update for this truck). Initial observations:

• Wireless phone charger seem to be fixed...no longer heats up the phone and barely charges...actually charges it normally w/o too much heat now
• All my arcade games uninstalled and was stuck on Pending download...with no progress. Had to cancel download on all of them and retry install
• Rear speakers and subwoofer...they no longer seem to play anything. Only front speakers play music. If I try to adjust Balance to rear speakers, the music fades to nothing. The awesome sound system now sounds like an old radio. Tried rebooting/powering off, no fix

My upgrade observations 2024.2.200 to 2024.8.8 (not including what was in release notes)

• separate WiFi and Bluetooth tabs added to settings. (So you don’t have to tap icons in the top right only)
• Possibly - Lock, LTE, and profile icons added at the top of driving visualization on the right. Not sure on this one

I updated last night. 2024.8 was included with the 2024.8.8 for me.

Love that they give you the access to control the rear screen from the front screen now. Was so tired of twisting around to start a show for my kids. They even added a rear screen icon in the icon menu.

Woke up this morning and my speaker issues above appeared to have resolved itself. Guess maybe a sleep helped reset something…

Ugh, just got mine on 4/26 and I am having the extremely low rear speakers and subs problem. ?

I guess I will try to contact Tesla about it on Monday if they are still not working right. If any others have experienced this how has it gone for you?

Deep sleeps are definitely known to fix a lot of issues. Sentry doesn't allow the car to sleep.

Does anyone have any updates on the speakers and sub not working? I tried picking up my truck yesterday and it had the same issue, so I refused delivery until they fix it. But they dont seem to have any idea what the issue is.
