ok, i s just saw how ppl kiss elon’s ass with money in hands.
We can either move on and accept the new ship date. Or:
  • Buy a Ford or Rivian. Still won't get a truck until 2024+.
  • Buy a currently available ICE truck.
  • Buy some other EV (and maybe buy a CT later).
  • Whine and complain a whole lot.
When I pre-ordered the Cybertruck, it was because it is going to be the biggest bang for the buck in an electric truck or SUV. This hasn't changed.

I suppose I could whine and complain. Don't see the point.

  • Continue renting a truck from Uhaul when I need it
  • Continue parking at the back of the lot avoid door dings
  • Pay for delivery of large items

I just file that under "Move on". Somehow we've all managed to survive without a Cybertruck until now, I suspect most of us can just wait a little longer.

I'd like to get my Truck before we get to Mars.
Much earlier for me. Sadly, you are definitely preaching to the choir on your desire, but there is no way that Tesla can get the CT out any faster than they will. Its Elon's favorite so you can be sure he will get it out as soon as possible. I don't like it (we don't like it) any more than you do, but he/Tesla cannot be rushed. In fact, I am not sure who could be rushed by a mob, certainly not anyone that believes they are right.

Any body that’s been watching the build can tell the delay is the mega press that will be used for the truck. I have the feeling that the CT is going to use a 3 part casting ( brand new). I feel for the guys that ordered back in 2019 stay with it guys
Not sure how many would agree with you but you are certainly welcome to believe it. I could see them making some prototypes with multiple-piece front and rear ends, but not the production version.

Whining is cathartic. Go for it!

Maybe by the time my CT is built my Tesla stock will be at 3K per share.
That would pay for my home charger and give me a big down payment.
I might even start taking better care of myself.

I plan on getting hired by Tesla. Attacking the problem twofold...
I wish I could get a job @Tesla but I'm pretty sure they aren't in need of an ICU nurse but I have had the same idea (being hired by Tesla) ever since the announcement of the first delay.
Addionally, bc out of the blue the price when I reserved the Dual Motor was $39K but now it's $49K (smh). They continue to announce more delays (errrg) but like JG Morgan says, "I need my truck and want it now" but I'll continue to wait. Call me Elon if u need any nurses.

Dual motor price has been $49K since day one. Single motor was $39K.

As a fellow ICU nurse I feel that waiting pain.

Part of Tesla’s demographic are old people… people with heart conditions. People who get too excited with the tech when picking up their EV. Risk exists that some will have heart palpitations when picking up the vehicle.

All these emotions and increased endorphins, Elon, it is in the companies best interest to have in staff medical.

Most large companies DO hire on site nurses. Not ICU specific, obviously, but to care for general employee wellness on site.

Was thinking this same thing.

Though it's possible Tesla would outsource to a partner company instead of hiring directly.

As infuriating as the delay may be, I also kind of have to thank it for being the reason my fiance is okay with us getting a model Y in the meantime. My business vehicle is costing and impossible amount to operate and a model Y will not only do the job but cost a fraction as much to operate, especially with rooftop solar getting installed later this year.

I'm keeping my reservation, but I'm also not going to avoid the EV future on account of a longer wait.
