2025 brand new Cybertruck fail - now stuck in service

UPDATE ON NON-WORKING FSD with "autosteer not available" error.

Service could not really find a cause, so Tesla authorized them to replace the CT's computer. Now they have to find a CT computer, and the truck (taken apart) will sit in service until a new computer is available.

The SAGA continues - so they're a installing new computer in the Feb 2005 truck to hopefully correct the FSD issue but unfortunately still have UNKONWN PROBLEMS that will keep the truck in service even longer.

I have already sent a buy-back request to Telsa' Business Team with a documentation that this fiasco will apply to the critieria for the 30-day lemon law in Floria.

Similar occurrence with me with my 2024 FS awd. Successfully bought back after multiple service visits, including a computer replacement. Trying again with the 2025 model. Who knows.

SC called me this morning and told me they installed a new computer and re-uploaded the firmware. They had the truck in service for eight days. Picked up this morning at 10am.

So far after new computer truck working perfectly with FSD.

Tested with 50 mile round-trip drive suburbs, city streets with high density and pedestrians, and highways - each way all good!!!

Really impressed with last update on FSD - one critique though is that in stop and go situations on highway, it accelerates a bit too much not realizing as a human would that it's stop and go, stop and go, not stop and all clear from there on out. Maybe that behavior is unique to hurry setting - will test in future.

So anyway for now, no buy-back necessary!

I think I might need a new computer too. This should be fun. Cabin camera unavailable, automatic emergency braking unavailable, auto steer unavailable. Camera’s keep going out etc.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT - certainly sounds like a computer issue! good luck with the fix. Let us know how you make out at the service center. My truck has been fine since the computer replacement.
