Yes, Tesla runs the risk of alienating reservation holders if the $80k AWD trim is now $88k or $92k with bundled FSD?

I am looking forward to OFFICIAL non-FS MSRP's being announced. The Cybertruck website MSRP's are only estimates.

It's sad but I've noticed a clear divide between those who have taken delivery and those waiting for a bit of a price break but obviously love Tesla and the Cybertruck.

Try and focus on the fact everyone on here generally is a fan and you have more in common then not.

Be happy for those who have received CT already and enjoying it and owners be excited for those waiting who will one day share the joy you are currently experiencing.

My prediction is that the AWD does not qualify for tax credits.
Just buy it for your "business" and write off the entire value.

More affordable in years to come. Hopefully not 2026. Years plural. Since this year is getting long in the ?.
RWD available in 2025 delivery in 2026.

Agree with this. I went for FS because I liked the extras / was willing to pay the $5kish get it early fee.

I have met a lot of people in real life that really want one of these things… $100k is just a ton of money for most people. $80k is too, but at least it’s closer to other higher end full sized trucks.

I genuinely hope non-FS comes in at $79k. Even if it’s optioned down slightly (wheels/tires, worse sound system, lower interior trim, things like ventilated seats)… whatever it is.

But lots of people are counting on this being $79k. It’s not about seeing value in extra options. It’s just plain affordability. Adding $5-10k forced on top, even if it’s with options, is going to disappoint a lot of people.

The FS trucks appears to be ending soon and “normal” versions will likely start production shortly. However, Tesla being Tesla I predict a catch will be involved and it will be a big one.

My prediction is that non-FS AWD and CyberBeast trucks will be offered at $80k and $100k respectively BUT Tesla will initially make Full Self Driving MANDATORY during the initial non-FS launch due to high demand.
That's a non-issue for those of us who would never buy a Tesla without FSD. We have four Tesla and they all have FSD, which makes the fact that it's not activated yet on the Cybertruck more painful. Because the Cybertruck is the only one I want to drive anymore!

Your prediction is not a bad one, but I can see it going the other way too. If FSD is getting close to being fully automated, then Tesla might NOT want to sell FSD for only $8K (when they know it will shortly be worth a lot more than that, even when added to a two-year old Cybertruck). Of course, they might be willing to sell FSD cheaply simply to keep margins strong through this challenging interest rate environment, too. Hard to say and Tesla probably doesn't even know for sure how they will do it when Foundation Series ends.

AWD at $79,990 for a while with base package.

White will be extra.
Cyber wheels at AT tires extra.
FSD is of course extra.
No $2500 credit for V2H of course.

That's all certain I'd say.
White interior - Tesla normally charges for this. Not sure why but I won't take it for free.

Cyber Wheels AT Tires - I predict $4500-$5500.

FSD - If Tesla is reportedly in talks with other legacy autos to license FSD, (I assume this would be for monthly subscriptions).
I'm not sure why they are making people pay 8k for a feature that does not exist.
There is a huge market for people like me who want to subscribe as needed.

$2500 Credit is pretty useless. Most reasonable accessories are out of stock.

For those suggesting that heated and ventilated seat, sound etc., will suddenly become options is unfounded and there is no precedence for that on other Tesla cars.

As a reveal night reserver, it will be Rivian here I come if there will be an additional FSD only priority on top of the already 4 years waiting and bait and switch price blow outs. I have loved the three Teslas I have owned, but the antics of it's part-time CEO is wearing thin.
*Cue all the - "good jump so I will get mine quicker" posters.
