Well I picked up my Cyberbeast yesterday at 11am and today at noon I get this. Dead being picked up by flatbed.

This fix is in. Yep they fixed it. It was a partially cut wire and a smashed wire somewhere near the throttle pedal they said. Said that the pedal has redundancy and since one two if the wires where smashed and partially open it thought it was a fault. I saw the photos. My beast is home and running great.

Excellent to hear!

Sounds like it was an assembly line installation mistake.

Yes that’s what tech thought. Could not see how I could have done it.

This is getting ridiculous at this point! Sucks to hear!
There is nothing ridiculous about it at all! Every car model ever produced has had a few sporadic issues (if not much more serious issues that are endemic to the design).

A few handfuls of various failures out of tens of thousands of Cybertrucks is nothing anyone gets excited about. Especially since many of the fixes are so simple.

But it doesn’t happen to [nearly] every truck so it must be something wrong in a batch of something or how it is installed. Difficult to predict.
Some damn stoner at the factory keeps installing a sensor ass backwards.
