High praise from Yanni at the beginning!

Importantly, as spec’ed, the Porsche is £99,800 which is about $124,500 - so, this obviously should’ve been a CB, in which case, the Porsche would’ve been completely outclassed and smoked!

How is this a comparison? I used to respect and like watching CarWow for their drag races but it’s starting to get ridiculous and somewhat questionable. As quick as the CT is we are talking about a 6,000+ pound truck compared to a 2,000 pound sport car. A car made purposely for speed and handling. With all that said the CT held its own and gave the Porsche a run for its money.

Thanks for summing it up for me, it’s rare I give a click for a YouTube video. Now I won’t have too

I’m pretty sure they did it for the exact reason that they stated in the video near the end (while acknowledging that the Cybertruck isn’t made for this): ‘they’re friends, and Yanni had a Cybertruck (one of only 3 in the UK).’

And because in drag racing you really never know what’s going to happen. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.

Beyond that it’s a positive, fun video from a major YouTube channel featuring the truck that we all love. ??‍♂

Some of you guys are very confused/confusing. Carry on.

Great they dragged them. Now lets see that 911 do this!

No really I want to see it do this! ; P

Oh, and I am impressed how well the AWD kept up.

I’ll be real—what that AWD Cybertruck pulled off was damn impressive for what it is. I don’t care what anyone says, that’s a win in my book. I’ll take any positive experience with the CT over the constant negativity from those clout-chasing, trash outta the mouth YouTubers "You know exactly who the fuck you are"

Exactly!! And they compare a REGULAR (AWD) Cybertruck to a car that has "Launch control" AND he mentions (at 4:57 in video) "I probably should have left traction control on"... Well, Porsche calls it "Porsche Traction Management (PTM)"... BUT, that is ONLY available on the 911 Carrera if it's the 4 GTS model... The "4" meaning it's AWD... So IF it had that feature (traction control) that would make it a different model completely...

In addition, it has an 8 speed Automatic that has TWO overdrive ratios (7th & 8th gears) which allow it to go over 100 mph and up to 183 mph (CT maxed out at 114) for the BASE model and 194 for the GTS models...

But you have to also realize that they KNEW the top speeds of BOTH vehicles and they KNEW that the Cybertruck maxed out MUCH less than the 911 Carrera did... So that's why they went with a 1/2 mile run as well... I'm surprised they didn't do a 1 mile run to REALLY blow away the CT...

Now then, let's see the test against them both on a DIRT TRACK!! Or maybe on a sand dune or the beach even! I would love to see that 911 trying to take a turn on a dirt track and flipping over and over again while the CT just flies on by!!

At around 2:23 in the video he said he made some modifications to meet regulations over there and two that caught me eye are:

- indicator turn signal light in the side view mirror housing
- indicator turn signal light inside the rear tail lights

Anyway, those two mods are probably one offs... But they look like OEM.

Yeah those mods look immaculate. I thought the Amber turned signals in the rear looked awesome! Same thing for the side mirrors I’d love to have those modifications!!!

watched the video 3 times to listen to what he said about his mods.

anyone know where to get the mods @Y14nny‬ did to his vehicle? mainly the turn signal on the side mirrors and the protector on the edge of the vehicle.

Still impressive that the AWD runs 12s. Crazy world we live in where it’s quite common now for big heavy trucks to race coupes.
I did 12.47 in the 1/4 mile in the Cybertruck the 3rd week i owned it. Don't need a Porsche, I wouldn't be able to tow my camper or utility trailer, take it off road or go onto the Outer beaches on long island.
