Saw 4 new CyberBeasts tonight sitting in the lot at Cincinnati, OH. They were dirty, as if they were sitting there for at least a week.

Made me think they aren't selling fast enough in the area, but that's just a gut feel.

There’s a recall going on for supposedly the wiper motor, that’s probably why they’re sitting. I’ve been waiting for my beast for a bit.

Agree. All of those are already spoken for. If you see CTs / CBs in a lot they basically already have an owner and are waiting to be picked up. If they have been there a while, it’s most likely a recall that has to be dealt with before the owner takes delivery. Right now there is no such thing as an already-built CT that isn’t selling. They were already essentially sold long ago and the owners are anxiously awaiting them. It’s not like other cars at other manufacturers pumping out cars to send to lots and then hoping someone will buy them. The waiting list for the CT / CB is still super long. It will likely be years before you could have CTs sitting in lots not selling, if that ever happens once more people get a chance to drive one and see the difference steer by wire with rear wheel steering makes.

Honestly your post comes across to me as someone trying to make it look like the public isn’t interested in the CT like the rest of the biased media so that the biased media can use it’s own planted posts online as evidence to support it’s alternate version of “reality” that isn’t in fact true at all. There is a lot of misinformation out there on the CT / CB in the mainstream media focused on every little negative with little mention of the positives and clearly trying to sway the public away from the CT which I won’t get into the motivation behind but it is clearly a thing. So not sure where you got the impression that they aren’t selling in some areas of the country because that’s just not even close to the actual case at all.

FWIW

Cheers

Your gut is wrong. Every CT coming off the line has a buyer anxiously awaiting to take delivery. They're delivered to regional service centers in batches and they do final prep and deliver to customers as they are staffed and able to. If you drive by on the right day is not unusual to see 4 or more on a lot. There is also the wiper issue that's currently slowing down deliveries. We're a long way from any CT just sitting on a lot waiting for a buyer.

Sorry if I came across negatively. I was just shocked to see so many in the lot when I was dropping off my Y for service. Sounds like my gut was wrong.

I asked the guys there and they said they are all allocated to customers for delivery, which lines up with what was said here.
