$4000 credit for power share?

Ok I have looked through as many posts here that I can find and yet I still can’t figure out where this $4000 credit is for the installation of the power share.
I found a post on X saying as of 5/26 Tesla is no longer giving the $4000 credit for the installation and only giving the $2500 voucher for the equipment.
(sorry if I knew how to link something from X I would put it here but my kid is gone so she can’t help me today)
Where do I find out if I get the $2500 voucher and the $4000 installation credit?
Any help wild be appreciated.

The voucher is for you to order the equipment. The 4k will be given to your installer when they install it. Your final price should be their quote - $4,000.

Thanks. But where do I find the $4000 installation credit will be given to the install guy? Even he didn’t say anything about it. So I’m afraid when his quote comes back I’m paying the full amount.

Not sure where you’d find it. In the email from Qmerit about scheduling a quote had this:


How do I receive installation credit?
Certain customers may be eligible for a Powershare Installation credit, provided by Tesla.

1. To receive the installation credit, Tesla must provide an authorization to Qmerit.
2. Currently, Qmerit is awaiting Tesla’s authorization of customers who are eligible for the installation credit.
3. As soon as Tesla verifies authorization to Qmerit, you’ll receive an email from Qmerit with next steps to proceed.

Ok yes I have the email. But how do I know if I am “certain customers” or not?

My original “order” was 10/21 yes I was late to the party. Got the email to configure 6/17 and I got the CB with gray and ATT. Said October/December delivery. So did I order it too late, or does it go by when you originally placed the tri-motor deposit?

As someone with no inside information, I think it goes by your 6/17 order date which is after they changed the wording on the order page regarding installation credit for Beast.

I can confirm my Beast delivery June 12th comes with the 4k credit. I was given the 4k credit through Qmerit today on my quote.

I ordered in January. I am positive it said the AWD version came with the powershare as well. I am trying to find it in writing in my documentation but it DEFINITELY said it. The $2500 is a joke compared to $4k coverage for install and equipment. Anyone know where I can reach out to tesla to make this right?

I've been following this for a long time, but I am pretty sure it is only Cyberbeast only. Someone will show you the screen shot of the order page. Sorry for the bad news.

Call Qmerit…..they are the third party provider which coordinates with the installer. They will run your VIN; if elgible your will then get an email to do a survey. However,the 4k credit was for CYBERBEAST only. You can contact them at 888 272-0092. They will answer or call you back.

All Foundations got the Gateway and UWC, if the buyer did a Powershare installation.
The alternative credit/supercharging/... varied over time.
The up to $4k installation credit was only pre-May 23rd (IIRC) Beasts.
