That dude is a ?. Lost credibility and they had to blame the editor for him saying Tesla owners are sheeple.
Agree to disagree. The car did what the car did. I don’t care what his opinion about Elon is. The guys on Throttle House hate Tesla even more.

Ad hominem is for losers!

Be grateful that someone is still producing content with the vehicle instead of ignoring it which a lot of folks are doing unless they have something critical to say.

Negative comments in this video:

1. The truck might not ever be licensed in the UK because of safety requirements.

2. Braking isn’t great from speed.

If you’re so fragile that you can’t handle merely knowing these things, I hope you find a safe space that meets your needs somewhere in this world. But, you’re gonna have a rough time.

The Tesla Cyberbeast on 35in AT tires (tire/wheel/cover = 97lbs @ each corner. That's 388lbs!!!) AND weighting in at approximately 7000lbs (?) completed the 1/4miles in 11.6sec over & over again ?
Now, that's pure, raw, power ?
Beasty!! ?

Great show and great race. I checked Teslafi yesterday and found my max speed so far is 82 mph. I’m ashamed.
As you should be! jk ?

To be fair, as a former Rivian R1T X2 and a R1S X1 owner, all quad wheel drive, if I try to drive it over 85mph the hood would shake so much as if it's about to fly open ?. Yeah, I chucked them all and bought 2 Cyberbeasts and a Model X Plaid. Super glad that I did and super happy with my Tesla?

They launched the two audi but didn't launch the cyberbeast. The audi both have much higher than 132mph speed limiters. Loved the regen only breaking vs audi real breaks. I'm confused about their concern over the windshield as well.
It was entertaining. He's just not reliable for real information.

Someone needs to put Street Legal “Slicks” on the CyberBeast and run the 1/4 Mile.

Has anyone ever tested launch mode vs non-launch mode for 1/4 mile in the CB? I can't find that on YT or anywhere. When I watched the video, this was my first question.

I have not seen this anywhere.
I can say that when launching I get up to 90mph faster! LoL

I have not tested it, but I remember reading that Launch Mode was the one thing that Tesla had that other EV companies did not and was atributed to serve a great deal of effectiveness to acceleration due to it's software control of power going equally to all tires to avoid tire slippage. And is why the CB out-accelerates all other EV vehicles in its class.

I think it was Car and Driver magazine that did extensive testing on it, and they determined the real 0-60 time is 2.5 seconds (not the slower 2.6s posted by Tesla specs).

Probably tire and surface dependent too. I'd be willing to bet with actual H rated (or better?) road tires it could squeak a little better out of it.

It does do more than just prep the motors and tires. The truck actually crouches to give it its best traction profile for grip at launch.
