My garage is ~ 236-7 inches long. With cybertruck at 231.7 inches, will it be able to park itself into the garage with ease? Thank you.

I have a large garage but a huge truck. I can park my truck (reverse in of course) and despite the tight fit itā€™s not an issue. Iā€˜m sure the fsd features will be able to park in a tight space. It will probably take it longer than doing it yourself but Iā€™m sure the CT could do it. If you havenā€™t had a big truck before, you will get very used to parking in reverse. All the cameras and tech make it easy.

Thanks buddy. Yeah I havenā€™t owned a truck before but I was planning on buying a Ram in a few years until the cybertruck happened. Thanks again.

Consider getting a pair of these parking curbs for the back of your garage. Just measure out a few inches of clearance from the back garage wall and mount the parking curb at the appropriate location behind (or in front of) your tires, depending on which way your Cybertruck will be facing. This looks far better than the old tennis ball hanging on a string method, and it may help keep you from driving your truck through the back wall of the garage if any Tesla auto-park feature fails.

This thread just caused me to go measure my garage again (I think ive done it a dozen times now). Mine is exactly 240ā€ from door to drywall. Gonna be tight.

But the large battery means I donā€™t have to park it in the garage every time. And the ability to preheat/cool the truck helps too.

Ok now your post made me measure one last final time. I have exactly 239 inches. We both should be good but itā€™s gonna be tight. Iā€™ll have about 3.5 inches of play on both ends. Parking outside wouldnt be a problem except having make a pathway for the plug. STOKED!

With todayā€™s back up cameras it is super easy to get within two inches of the back wall every time without ever hitting it. And it doesnā€™t take long. They are designed to give a great view of the trailer hitch and precision backing up and getting the ball directly under the coupler in one try.

This method works very well for our long bed crew cab. Highly recommend. One longer one is sufficient.

Itā€™s much easier using summon. To park in garage with another vehicle already in. Itā€™s faster With summon. If I were to get inside and personally park in garage with other car, My only option would be to crawl out the side window ?? im in good shape, but Iā€™m no Bo duke. Love summon. Itā€™s really handy.

I used a tennis ball on a string hung from the ceiling at windshield height; when the ball hit the window I was in

Those slide quite a bit if you don't screw them down. I found the parking mat works pretty well once you get it in place. The weight of the vehicle keeps it from moving. I have three of these that stop the MY, a Yaris, and a Prius though that used to park outside while my F350 parked inside but the mat stopped the big truck just as well. It's cheap but you still only need one per vehicle. Here's a link: Parking Mat

Hang a ping pong ball from the ceiling on a string so that it touches the windshield at the right spot when youā€™re parking.
