They finally got back to me! My car has been held at the Tesla service center for a software update. But should a software update really take 10 days? They say it's done and ready for pickup. Should I trust them? Should I switch to a different VIN? I really need your advice.

Mine had the same reasoning regarding the update. Not sure it takes 10-days but they are pushing out a lot of CT's so who knows. Honestly, I wouldn't pass just because of this. Knock on wood no issues for me thus far.

My question is whats the closest people are coming to their delivery window w/out a vin? My delivery window starts next week but no vin assigned is why I ask. I'm working hard to keep my hopes down to a manageable level .

If it makes you feel better, I ordered 2/20 and the chatbot says my ETA is end of July to September sometime,.

I am surprised a 2/24 order would have delivery in June as by then the delivery was Sept/October or later. Congrats.

Starting to think the ai is a crap shoot. There’s a few 2/20 2/21 orders in here that still show 2027. One guy had 2027 changed to in transit and picked up his car already lol

Yes, I am as well. (Assuming you meant a 2/24 order not 6/24. ) Originally it was the Oct-Nov window. It bounced around all over until a couple weeks ago when it jumped to June. Still not sure I trust it...

This is the webpage source coding no? Or is it the JSON codes you were asking about? This is basically saying you can’t modify your order anymore.

That's a crazy early estimate for a 2/24 order. Hopefully it comes true!

In the App, under the "vehicle details" option, do you still have the "Edit Design" button? If not, your VIN is imminent.

Yes, still able to see and potentially edit design, though I won't save anything to confirm it.

That line about modification hadn't jumped out at me before looking today though. Wondering if others see the same?
