$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

As promised. They had a Dual Motor AWD on display couldn’t drive it. Per the sales person nobody had gotten one delivered yet (Charlotte).

I can confirm the tailgate has the assist. See video.

only set Height is medium but we knew that. No other modes like wade etc.

Lights in front look the same. No different.

no light bar when lights are on.

tried to measure the height from ground with my phone but it was very sunny so prob not as accurate.

I was Impressed with the stereo it sounded quite good. As good if not better than my ModelY with premium sound. The CT even sounded like it had some bass. There are rear door speakers (see pic).

also the tires and wheels looked very good in person. So much so I’m somewhat regretting proactively purchasing new cast forged wheels that I can’t return.

seats look and feel great the color is perfect IMO more of a darker charcoal than some of the photos I’ve seen.


after today’s visit I’m even more excited to get this thing and especially after getting the 59k deal.

@TarheelCT thank you! Dam I'm more excited also lol. Truck is better than I thought honestly. I'd rather have this than the premium as I prefer the textile seats, coil suspension and no rear screen. Only thing I want from the premium is the sound system but you said it's just as good or better than a Premium Model Y which is what I have right now and it sounds amazing to me.

Question, why does the screen show you can adjust the ride height when it's not on air?

Edit: also prefer the wheels on the SAWD. So much so I don't plan to buy aftermarket. I would take off the center caps.

It looked grayed out. Couldnt select anything.

yes, wheels looked very good. Now I’ll have to decide if I sell my Brand New cast forged wheels or just keep them and sell the ones that come on the CT.

I also saw it this weekend. I would say the sound system is like the premium of you had it at 7 or 8 and the base turned down.

IMO, loud enough that it doesn't need an upgrade.

Looks like it should be easy to install the L-track. The only other things I want are the under bed storage and the bed lighting. Wonder how easy it would be to install those.

Mine just changed from 2027 to June 7-28th. February 21 order date.

Same here. The AI also can't find my cybertruck order unless I give it the actual RN.

Tesla is probably making some changes on the backend or something.

I would take the 2027 with a grain of salt. Trust the estimate you were given earler.

I believe Wes or someone said you could not retrofit to add the under bed storage.

As far as the lights, you should be able to plug in a light strip.
