You guys got me nervous so I decide to check out mine that I've had in the garage for a few weeks. Fortunately my box was in pretty good shape on the outside and after inspection I noticed each of the ends had a slight dent in the aluminum. I'm sure the carriers drop these on their ends and it dents the aluminum. Most likely not noticable when installed, but Tesla should add an inch of the white foam at each end to cushion and protect. This would prevent the rails from cutting through the thin box and prevent further damage. SMH.The cardboard Tesla decided to use to ship the L-Tracks is VERY cheap. It's a single wall corrugated cardboard offering little to no structural integrity. Several users have been having issues.
