I just took delivery of my cybertruck in Richmond, VA today. I think this is the first one here. Reserved on 02/20. No major issues. Had rear air vent panel loose and they said they will replace it. Other than that it is perfect. Rides great. Came with just 6 miles on it. Still getting used to the steering wheel. I am coming from Juniper model y and I feel sound system is pretty good comparatively. Has base but it is coming from the front. Not a deal breaker at all. Everything looks much better in person; seats look premium even with cloth(looks darker in real life), tires look great. Nothing feels like it was a huge downgrade. Bought floor mats, L-track and screen protector as of now. I will be installing L-track soon. Every time I look at the truck it makes me feel I bought an expensive truck but then when I remember I only spend 59K on this, makes me feel very happy. This group has been very supportive. I will post some pictures shortly. Hope everyone gets yours soon.

Took delivery on 25th and got a chance to drive to outerbanks. Loving the ride so far. Here are some pictures. I feel efficiency is really great. I was worried that I need to charge for a very long time at the super chargers. We also took a Juniper model Y. These are very comparable when it comes to charge time and efficiency. Not sure if that is fair comparison but as a customer, at least cybertruck does not add too much time to my trip.

I’d buy a hat fo sho. My kids keep telling me they can’t understand why I’d buy such an ugly truck. I keep telling them “it’s not for you, pipe down!”

Quick update.

Got it wrapped in “Stealth black” got a great deal on the labor from a buddy who does PPF for some of the big DFW dealerships.

I ordered the TWRAPS DIY kit with a code.

He charged me labor only, and tinted it.

Said the material didn’t feel as tacky as Xpel, so the edges were tougher to stick - but I’m very happy with the end product and the cost!

When I compare what Tesla was charging, what I paid for the DIY and the labor - it was half the cost! If you’re in the DFW area feel free to reach out to him and let him know I referred to get a good deal! He can do the entire wrap or you can bring a DIY kit. He also does just tinting too.

Can you message me what you paid for the labor ?? TIA!

She loves it so far. I think it gets better range than mine. We both followed each other from the SC, and my watts per mile were much higher than hers. I haven't rode in it yet, but will soon do.

Here is a pic of our CT's. The Unicorn/Rainbow is a pic Ai made, we will get that printed and put on her tailgate soon....

Thats awesome Dan! Interesting to see the difference in "parked" height between the two.

Just curious, who is printing her tailgate vinyl? Most of the places I've looked don't have vinyl to fit the CT's tailgate dimensions.

I talked to him today and mentioned/explained this forum.

he said for DIY wrap installation and tinting the windows it’s $2800. Tesla app shows $8700.

To be transparent mine was slightly less but I think I got a price before he realized how much cleaning and edging is on the CT stainless!

takes 2 days. He cleans and wraps the first day. 2nd day he folds all the edges and tints the windows.

he has other prices if y’all don’t want the DIY kits. Xpel is no doubt better quality wrap but I went with the cheapest option!

Hope it works out for those interested!

I texted him today and quote was $4500 for labor only on a PPF, with tinting being more. I was hoping to find a deal, but that wasn’t it.

Thanks for the extra pictures Reddy! Two things. 1) I may be in a minority, biased, or both, but to me the textile seats look more premium, than the "premium" seats. 2) either you drive in Sloth mode or that's an impressive efficency rate. I know that route from Richmond to Outer Banks and I'd be lucky to get under 300 Wh/m in my '24 M3P.

That’s about as cheap as I’ve found in my area. 4500-4800 includes ppf. .

Dang. I had asked if I could post his info as well. I guess YMMV.

I’d pay $2800 in a heartbeat. Unfortunately the quote I got was a heck of a lot more than that lol. Wish him the best of luck though
