yeah they said the vehicle is still in socal waiting to be transported up north, original delivery date to delivery center was 2 days ago(2/17)
Oh ok. That sucks. At least you know where it is. I spoke with a Tesla guy last Saturday who said there was no way to track where the truck is at. ? It’s a Tesla and you want me to believe you can’t tell me where it is? Crazy.

I read somewhere from a former Tesla engineer that once a VIN is assigned they're able to ping it for the location. I see a problem with uninformed Tesla staff giving mixed messages. Purely a training issue.

Tomorrow will be 60 days since configuring my CT. I was invited on 12/8, configured on 12/22. I know some have been waiting longer than I have but the timeline I feel is slipping longer and longer. I feel Tesla is providing a 90-day delivery window since invites are given a 3-month timeframe. I am becoming impatient, as time goes on, may not have been so bad if I hadn't sold my Model 3 so quickly.
hey me too!! Did you see the Delivered Chart? looks like mostly are 12/8 and 12/9 deliveries which equates to about 5% maybe of all trucks delivered in the world (US) so we are about a year away from getting our trucks. So I laugh and laugh and go crazier every day. while typing this I looked at my app too. Crazy I tell ya. Crazy!!!! BWAHAAAAAAAAAAA

So you actually get an email? Ive read that most are just checking the app several times a day since ordering. Im RN 11275. I got my invite on 01/31 and ordered that day. Still waiting on a VIN. In SoCal
Yeah, an email. I was also checking the app multiple times a day then it popped up. As much as I was checking both, it really caught me off guard when I finally got it.

That’s what made it frustrating because thanks to this forum, we all know they can track them.

Honestly I would call them out on it. Maybe not to the point of being rude, but just tell them. "Look, I know you have the ability to track this vehicle. If you are unwilling to, feel free to say so. But please don't tell me you can't when we both know you absolutely can."

WOW! I am sorry! You might have the record. Of course, it's a record you don't want.

?

What was the delivery period indicated when you ordered? It's also obvious that you didn't really want one, since you waited 2 weeks to order it. There are a LOT of people who ordered before you did.

I think TX got a nice big push at the beginning for the 12/8-9 orders and then I’m pretty sure it’s been super quiet.

I’m a 12/28 Texas so I’m expecting mine around Christmas time.

It was Dec. - March. I waited because I had to come to grips with spending $100k on the truck I was planning only spending $80k. Also for tax reasons, I didn't want the CT in December.
