First, with a lot of Tesla owners over 40 or 50 years old, why we have no option to increase the font size on the display. Very unsafe to put on reading glasses while driving to read very small font on display.
Second. In FSD, whether you have an address or not, why don't we have an option to stay in the lane you want? Even in Sloth mode it changes lane whenever it wants to.
Third. I am a 2 feet driver, I use my left foot for the brakes. I owned 3 gas stations in my younger days. We always had to use both feet to get a car in the service bay, or push it in.
I am on my 4th Tesla and the annoying chime when you touch both pedals at once. Why can't we turn it off. Even in Joe mode it's annoying.
I've learned to ignore it. But now with my 2025 Cybertruck it's worse. Now not only the chime, but if I slow down and touch the brake slightly the rear brakes start coming on and off and the whole truck shudders until I remove my foot off the brake pedal. That never happened with my previous model S's.
Before anyone makes fun of my 2 feet driving, let me tell you. It got me out of many accidents over the years. Think of it. It takes less time to apply the brakes with the left foot because it's always ready, than remove your foot off the gas pedal and to the brake pedal. 3 times as long.
End of gripes. I love my Cybertruck and I owned so many cars from Rolls Royce to Ferrari's in my 30 years as a gas station owner.

I like the font size option, man, my eyes are going to shit these past two years.

I've only ever met one other 2-foot driver before. I let my cousin drive my Cybertruck whenever I hang out in hopes he ends up buying it, and I'm constantly hearing the beeps you talk about. It must be really annoying. Hopefully, FSD is faster than your left foot in braking.

2 foot driving is bad for any vehicle. Crazy not to reprogram yourself to properly drive a vehicle.
And no way is it safer either. Unless your reflexes need improvement too.

Once in a while I see someone accelerating while their brake lights are on and just silently shake my head

I mean, further to the unsafe portion of my reply, what if you tense up both legs in the moments leading up to a crash, you are literally Apply power to the vehicle instead of removing it by lifting you foot off the gas 🙄

I think you lost everyone when you did you where a two foot driver. Like others have said its actually dangerous, and Tesla as remove the danger by not allowing both to be pressed. Its also why the gas pedal recall wasn’t such a big deal, if it got stuck down, applying the brake would instantly kill power, and ignore gas pedal input.

Pedal misapplication is a cause of accidents. Especially as people age. I think Tesla is saying. Hey you dumb shit. We noticed you are doing something most think is unsafe. We telling ya with an alert. Also in the logs so when one mows down a bunch of people in a parade, or drive into a grocery store entrance ya can't sue us.

I'm 80 years old and never had an accident yet. I would have had many if it was not for my left foot. My left foot is always ready and I'm never riding the brakes.

I really don't think so. Many people drive with two feet. You gotta have 2 brains😃

2nd your insights on 2 points
1. For this who need reading glasses, the display is *just* at the odd distance between needing readers / and not. Bigger font option would be nice.
1.B. Reading glass needers also touches on the 'rear camera' which as an image of the rear view - presents the image at the same painful reading glasses distance.
- - - Also: I have a optics education: a rear camera removes all the distance from the objects that looking at an actual mirror provides. This is why the rear camera can cause frustration when using it to actually gage distance in navigating using it.

2. The FDS, loves the slow lane!, to a negligent degree. It lacks the courtesy to move away to the left from hwy exchanges on-the-right - that you are not taking - to allow that traffic getting off the hwy - access to the right exchange. I know we all have our home offramp, that is clutterED with drivers shuffling there - AND THEY DON'T EXIT! -

the far right lane is for slower traffic, traffic that’s not passing, that’s it’s, there is nothing in any law or drivers ed book that says otherwise, in fact the opposite for most states. The merge lane is where you exist and speed up. You aren’t supposed to even touch the brakes until your in the exist lane, and you are supposed to be matched to the speed of traffic before entering the highway. If no one is in the middle, its nice to move over and let people on, but it is rude to merge from the merge lane if other cars need to slow down or speed up to let you on.

Agree; Also FSD makes no accommodation for a vehicle merging in front of it. It does not seem to see a turn signal from another vehicle. So the fact it like to drive in the merge lane is not ideal for it, or anyone having to get around it.

Nor does FSD stagger itself to cars in adjacent lanes. It is quite happy to drive door-to-door with adjacent cars. Which leaves you very little response to a problem other than breaking.

...all the things Dad used to smack you in the head for doing...I also had 2 Uncles who were truck drivers.

font size seems like something they may add in a future update.

I would like to add some gripes, both easily addressed if Tesla pays attention to these forums.
1) The ability to open a door with the touchscreen, similar to how we can open a door with the app. My son is 5 and it's a bit of a reach for him (yes, suspension at low) to press to door open button when I pick him up from kindergarten. Would be great if I could just pop the door for him when he's walking up. He's getting taller so it's easier but still seems like an easy additional function.
2) A zero regen option. I know Tesla removed this option due to EPA requirements on range reporting. I'm planning on emailing the EPA (probably nothing will happen) to remove zero regen into range estimates. As many of you in cold climates know, when there's ice the best thing to do is roll over it, no brakes or acceleration. Without a zero regen option ice situations can are more challenging and present safety issues.
Ok I'm done.
