Would you forgo the $1500 delivery fee, in exchange for 1500 miles on the odometer?
I can drive out there and get it for a lot less than 1500 bucks (assuming gas isn't five bucks a gallon by the time mine is built).
It's a 1800 mile round trip.
Seeing the look on people's faces when they see the CT towing the Nissan van would be worth the price of admission.

Thats not a decision I’ll ever be faced with.

I’d go further and suggest insurance and legal weirdness would make that near impossible.

Here’s a possibility that is a *tiny* bit more possible. Take FSD delivery now or have to drive 300 miles to pick it up. Or even FSD delivery versus a 1 month delay.

I don’t think FSD delivery will ever be a thing, but I’m pretty sure eliminating the “destination” charge is just not possible.

FSD will eventually be the delivery system right? Look at how simple that would make it. Have the vehicle arrive at your house and wait for you to sign the delivery agreement before releasing the vehicle.
I'd be impressed if they could just convince the newly-completed vehicles to drive themselves onto the delivery truck.

Even Level 5 autonomy cannot self-charge.
You didn’t read the pre-order agreement? As part of the purchase agreement we are obliged to host any Cybertrucks that show up at your home. They just wander in and you get a notification on your phone.

As a truck servant, we’re obliged to plug them in, fill up the tires if they’ve gotten low, clean the camera lenses, and then unplug them when they are ready to leave. They hypermile along from town to town. During daylight hours they cruise along with the slower traffic to maximize range without being a hazard. At night they slow to 30-35 MPH so they can enjoy the night air and maximize their range.

Don’t be surprised if a truck arrives in needs of a bath and you might have to buff out a scratch. Sometimes they feel a little spunky and hit the off-road routes and shortcut though long forest roads.

Maybe they just have a really long extension cord?

Doesn't the 3rd amendment protect us from this?
