So I have the 35 inch all-terrain tires on my CT. They look fantastic and they’ve been great in the snow and offloading. However, the other day I was very unhappy to discover that rolling over a screw which isn’t even 3/4 of an inch long is enough puncture the tire. The Tesla mobile service no longer repairs punctured tires. They will only replace a damaged tire. So I’m going to have the punctured tire patched, get a CT wheel for it and probably get the spare tire carrier for the back of the truck. The Tesla guy said he sees this all the time with CTs because their weight makes it easier to puncture a tire in a situation like this. Two questions: Does anybody know how much length the spare tire carrier with the tire on it will add to the CT? Also, somebody on this forum mentioned a 10-ply Kevlar all-terrain tire that they have on their CT. Any idea which tire they were talking about? Thanks and watch out for big head screws, laying face up on the pavement!
