is there a way to completely shut off the fan ? I know you can go from low to med to high... but I do not see a way to shut it off completely.

Push the Temperature button and the main screen shows up. Push the far left top on/off button.

You can also just press and hold on the temp display number on the main Home Screen. After a second or two, all hvac shuts down and the number greys out.
