Lets hope it was a cybertruck owner and their cybertruck was being serviced. One less CT owner without their truck.this seems to be a loaner vehicle from one of the local service centers based on the instructional decals above the door switches.
Man that’s horrible news, you going to miss out on so much enjoyment with the shorter trips. Going to have to find other excuses now.On the plus plus plus side, my commute from my new house is 30 miles shorter saving me 60 miles of commute per day! Yay!
Welcome to NE - and I use the Counciltucky SC as well. I think Nathan and Armando are great to work with.Well, everyone, I'm here to report my Cybertruck will be no more.
It will be no more roaming the roads of Maryland. Shed a tear.
But, not much of a tear as the family is all okay.
We are okay because we moved to Nebraska and had nothing to do with the Maryland accident aside from living in the state.
My truck is fine. Well, except for one thing that came up literally on the morning I started the move from Maryland to Nebraska. It's not a common thing... Okay, maybe it is. I have the dreaded "AC Charging unavailable, try Supercharging" warning.
I charged to 100% the night before our morning start for Nebraska. Or, at least, I tried to. I woke up to 97% charge and a charge failure. PCS. Yes, finally got me. 42,000 miles almost on my truck.
On the plus side, free supercharging for the trip.
On the plus plus side, Nebraska (or rather Iowa because Nebraska is protecting their tender little stealerships) is not as busy as most places with Cybertruck PCS replacements so I'm scheduled for 11 August which is fine. I'm stuck in an extended stay hotel until we close on the new house anyway.

Good to see another member nearby!Welcome to NE - and I use the Counciltucky SC as well. I think Nathan and Armando are great to work with.
I am going on the tenth for tonneau seal water ingress.
LOL. Right? I never minded the drive on FSD but I hated the time the commute stole from me every day. You can't get that time back, you know.Man that’s horrible news, you going to miss out on so much enjoyment with the shorter trips. Going to have to find other excuses now.

Today I learned that infact, loaners in MD do exist, or rather.. did, until this incident. Probably the only one in the state, and now we're back to zero."Hey, can you give me a loaner for that loaner?"
wowOof, that’s not a call the service center is going to want to take.

Five years of service visits, I've never scored a loaner. I'm dropping the CT off tomorrow for some compressor weirdness, and I've already been told "five days estimate, sorry, no loaner, just some rideshare credits, kthxbai".
